Not really. If you are concerned of the the video processing capability of the Onkyo, then, select video resolution to "Through". This way the Onkyo simply passes thru the video without processing. It depends on the TV. Off course if your TV is capable of receiving 1080p/24Hz then it would be best to simply pass through the video. Upscaling/De-interlacing is only necessary for lower resolution feeds.

last time got ppl selling 875 at so-called factory price. wonder can get or not for 606? whats the lowest price for 606 = 2k plus means what? 2.2? 2.5?...

ddkl, that factory sale was meant to clear the out-going model, 805, 875 and 905 as EU was going to get new models at that time. Nevertheless, it was worth buying it.

I doubt there will be any such sale for current models.

Maybe got some hope, I believe Onkyo has released the Y2009 models. The models will be available in EU maybe in 2-3months time. It is possible that the factory will clear some stock of the x06, x76 models around the same time. July-Aug. Hope so...

so far out i dont think he can predict much, best bet is just keep updating and research the price till then, once its confirm straight away buys it..
