hi just got a quotation from a sg shop..didnt bargain n this is the price he quoted me for the receviers

Onkyo 805 is $1500
Yamaha Rxv1800 is $1799
Yamaha Rxv 863 is $1280
Onkyo Txsr606 new model with 4 HDMI is $728

All items are in sgdollar

ada but i didnt ask since sg yamaha price not much diff with malaysia.. 706 i dont think they have it yet coz if they do they would have quoted me when i requested for 705.. i requested for 605 n they only quoted me 606 coz i think they have it in stock already... anyway 705they quoted me sg1149.

headache la dont know which to buy... yamaha power way below onkyo ..saw the bench test for 605 vs 661.. 605 30 watt rms more per channel in5.1..605=85watt perchanel.. 661=56watt perchanel... i am definately going for entry level 5.1 floorstander like m.short or q-acoustic n will not upgrade for SURE (thats wat i always think)...is the 30 watt per channel really matters that much for my case since i assume these entry level speakers r easy to drive.. i am a noob in av hopefully u guys can help me

i also wanna support onkyo but the price like that how to support unless buy from sg... actually i have taken taxi from jb to sg 5 times already for the past 3 months.. the custom nvr checked my bag ..not even once.. just dont know when will my next trip be nia..i tihnk at least another 2 months

u come pg i bring u to a shop dont even wanna look at u.. i went in then the owner looked at me then turn away.. me n my fren were like 12 feet from the owner he didnt bother to say hi or can i help u.. for 10min we stood there n he didnt bother.. i asked for a av demo.. he simply press play n cabut .. i had to watch 10 min of non action movie:( i also cabut

beside the padang ... Watts.. i tried 1 speaker n wanted to try another brand .. he was pretending n reluctant.. so i ask him wat is the main diff between the two speakers.. he said both sounds THE SAME:)..besides bad service, harga sembelih was quoted.....i have to say i was wearing slipper.. but with the same slippers i went to midland hifi choice the service was 1st class.. took the effort to setup for me to audit and the prices quoted WITHOUT bargaining was very good... there is no way i am going back to Watts unless i wanna go back n throw sticky eggs at them

there is 1 more near watts.. jln pahang.. tiny shop.. called happy photo.. the uncle there service quite good but limited choice..

not sure which jln coz i am not local.. but his business card says jln pahang... tiny shop.. the boss i think leg injury or something.. paika a bit ... paiseh with him see him lifting n moving the speakers for me to try
