If kene above warranty, please visit Kwong Weng Auto Electrical Service and Trading instead at Kepong KL. They already make my friends old Persona (10 years old) back as new (now he is already on 4th year after restore his alternator there), no more issues.

When visit that shop, will found plenty of Audi, BMW having alternator issues and waiting for restore.

Summary, please stay away from recond alternator units usually from China, 3 months warranty, cz sure problem back after sometime

Damn... my times to change tyres. One nail stucked deep inside and the surface starting to crack. Besides Michelin, what else worth considering?

I have just changed my battery today. To my surprise, the earlier suspected flywheel noise also gone.

Shop suggested to me change to Viking tyres for rm460/pc. Else, Westlake thailand for cost saving.

If budget, take China UHP tyre better with Traction AA rating. My company car changed to Powertrac Racing Pro, its kinda copy Michelin PS4 tread. Ride on wet the grip is there, and its miles ok than my Continental UC6 when on rain.

Seems like this is a China company with a manufacturing facility in Thailand. Maybe that is what the shop meant, mfg in Thailand.

Yeap no issue if you feel good. Im just sharing mine. Everyone goes through diff road and condition so thats that.

The few times i go genting also the same. My tail will swerve. Even after rotating. So thats why when the time come. I change to other brand.

Better to discuss this in tyre sub lol even though rrlated to x50 here

I think it's fine to discuss since it's the stock tyre for X50. After owning the car for 2yrs, I can feel the tyre detoriated a lot from what it used to be. I checked the tyres, it looks fine physically, but in wet I dont feel safe anymore (the car has 23k mileages on it).

I skidded twice going down hill (like 10 degrees) + corners at 70-80kmh on wet road, feels like my tail swerving and double signal light up, I think that's the warning from car trying to tell it's losing grip.

I am seriously looking for a tyre to change now, probably Primacy 4, losing trust on Continental to be honest, or did I drive wrongly?

Yes bro exactly my experience. If you cycle back. Some owners share the same. I thought id give hankook VP a try but couldnt find any for the odd size we're using. I changed to P4. No comments for now. Still new. Gona test after 5k km which is another 800km. It was noisy going over thailand road but our road seems quiet

It's not you entirely. Most likely it's the tires. UC6 sucks big time. Especially in the wet traction criterion.

I like how it was advertised to performs in wet roads, and it doesnt. sweat.gif
Well, in a way it does increase my safety since I am no longer going above 80 using this tyre at the moment during rain laugh.gif

Only local YouTubers praise this brand, tyres model exclusively cz they got free donuts. It started with 6 series for local YouTubers, MC6 and UC6, recently (months ago) with 7 series, UC7 and MC7.

For 6 series, YouTubers all said it is ok, especially the MC6 can fight with PS4 but much cheaper price. But real owner give review are same, this tyres, MC6 and UC6 suck for wet traction, only good at quiet tyres sound, thats about it.

Doubt the 7 series improve much since it only sold locally or SEA region as 6 series, or maybe its me who dont believe this Brand at all.

The problem I facing now is sometimes start engine the brake cannot press. Sometime is normal.
When cannot push start engine, I use remote car key to start car. Service center ask me to leave my car for overnight inspection. But I need car to working
I off air-cond everytime I off engine
