QUOTE(nymerine @ Nov 1 2024, 07:10 PM)
I think it's fine to discuss since it's the stock tyre for X50. After owning the car for 2yrs, I can feel the tyre detoriated a lot from what it used to be. I checked the tyres, it looks fine physically, but in wet I dont feel safe anymore (the car has 23k mileages on it).

I skidded twice going down hill (like 10 degrees) + corners at 70-80kmh on wet road, feels like my tail swerving and double signal light up, I think that's the warning from car trying to tell it's losing grip.

I am seriously looking for a tyre to change now, probably Primacy 4, losing trust on Continental to be honest, or did I drive wrongly?

Yes bro exactly my experience. If you cycle back. Some owners share the same. I thought id give hankook VP a try but couldnt find any for the odd size we're using. I changed to P4. No comments for now. Still new. Gona test after 5k km which is another 800km. It was noisy going over thailand road but our road seems quiet

It's not you entirely. Most likely it's the tires. UC6 sucks big time. Especially in the wet traction criterion.

I like how it was advertised to performs in wet roads, and it doesnt. sweat.gif
Well, in a way it does increase my safety since I am no longer going above 80 using this tyre at the moment during rain laugh.gif

Only local YouTubers praise this brand, tyres model exclusively cz they got free donuts. It started with 6 series for local YouTubers, MC6 and UC6, recently (months ago) with 7 series, UC7 and MC7.

For 6 series, YouTubers all said it is ok, especially the MC6 can fight with PS4 but much cheaper price. But real owner give review are same, this tyres, MC6 and UC6 suck for wet traction, only good at quiet tyres sound, thats about it.

Doubt the 7 series improve much since it only sold locally or SEA region as 6 series, or maybe its me who dont believe this Brand at all.

because the pressure in the brake pump will gone when your car engine off.
so there will be time you need harder to start the engine, dont worry it wont broke.

if you worry, or just press brake hard enough for the push start button lights up, then start the car normally

Send my car for servicing on September

Just realised recently that they loss one tyre nut and coolant cap.

They only replace tyre nut for me and refuse to give me coolant cap cause too long already

Any idea where can I get one?

Will send my car to another branch for servicing in future

I don't have answer for this, I think depends on your urgency, wait time for X50 today is not like when it is launched which takes >1 year.

If can wait just wait for the color you want if it is just 1 or 2 months time
