Tested 3 pendrive still same , after plug In USB the HU go restart and no APK installed .

how do you register waze? cos it sent me an email which i cant open in the HU

Weird. If your HU is restarting means it's running the commands.
Every time after it restarted, your USB the "b832..." folder gone?
Your ES.apk might have issue? Try a different one.

Can't you just login your already registered Waze from your phone etc?
Anyway Waze do not need to login to use it's functionality.

Yes, using CarPlay now. It's working.

Check from APKpure. Make sure downloading apk not Xapk.
If version doesn't work, keep going downwards until a version that works.

I got all the steps followed, but it seems the command is not running, tried different kind of pendrive with FAT32 formatted, size from 16gb to 64gb, anyone can advise what goes wrong? It don't even reboot after plugged in for more than 40 minutes

Android Auto = Processing power + GPS using your phone.
Install to HU = processing power + GPU using your HU's.

Seems that maybe the GPS on the HU is a bit wonky

Any idea to make the app installed on HU able to read USB/Otg?
Because, music player i install only can see the 32gb build in storage not the USB. I suspect permission issue.

Tried on this morning, no issue and running it while playing music from USB drive.
However I have different issue, a white bar on top which typically for handphone. Look abit funny.
Currently using this version
com.waze_4.83.6.0-1022791_minAPI21(arm64-v8a,armeabi-v7a)(nodpi)



I tested against my phone running Waze on this morning. No lags like 2 - 3 seconds, for me it is hearing echo, definitely one has split second faster.

But using the original HU's Here maps doesn't have such issue also.
Perhaps it's software optimization problem?

Anyway, I just want to know if anyone else having the same issue. Maybe it's the Google Maps and Waze version I use is not the most suited one.

This morning using Proton default USB player.
I tried before Waze + Spotify also no issues as highlighted, however just for a short drive in the city.

no point using default music player.
since it use android 5.1/proton codec...it suck to next level.
thats why i plan to third party music player to bypass codec and EQ, but so far all thirdparty app cant recognize the USB drive.
