There is rumor that if govt credits to extend SST rebate, they won't announce until Jan 1. This is to avoid cancelations amd affect sales for this year. Also, if you are not in a hurry, you can wait till end of next year for the usual end of year discounts and promotions.

Yeah, I am not in a hurry at all. Had no plan to buy a new car, only the tax holiday and some flagship gimmicks made me order.

I don´t know my position in the queue, also would take orange or blue. Also don´t know how many they delivered already. As I cannot get it before 31 Dec there is no reason for me to keep inquiring. I just wait for their offer then decide if I cancel the booking or not. But only a substancial cash rebate that brings the price down to the original 103´300 would keep me waiting. No accessories catch my interest, except free tinting

There was a link previous from the proton manual that said don't idle the engine during the run in period.

Hence I was actually asking a question and not making a statement cos its weird that the engine should not be idling too much during the run in periods

Actually it’s either e-Sim or a physical SIM. We have to contact Proton to continue data plan. That’s why it’s available to top up directly from your proton link.

Suddenly the “auto idle-stop” feature seems so useful now.

By the way it’s written in booklet, it’s because of the engine set-in (or so called ECU mapping set in) period.
