I can verify that the 8192 texture config works (on my 4870x2 w 2GB VRAM). It was posted on the steam forums previously as well.

wow, it looks great for the 8k texture. so u guys have tried co-oop ady? 4 or 2 player co-op?

If you have 1GB ram graphic card, how much textures can we put?
or only 1.5gb above GC working?

i noticed the enemy ai is quite lame.

ok.tested on my rig.
didn't noticed any significant changes,particularly indoor texture.
outdoor texture,there might be slight improvement.but i didn't go for 8xAA.had to null the AA setting,cause i noticed some lag when dealing with characters.

i'll lay the game to rest a bit,after more tweaking environment has been discovered. time to Portal for now...

PC fanboi hyperbole at its shrillest.

my card is 512mb, 9800gtx+ only, with all the tweaks and so on, is 60fps on 1440x900, but... texture poping issue is quite like the youtube. so i think i will stop 1st, see if there's any updates or fixes.
