now is just seriously thinking do i need to get a new rig or not, cause it seem like it is runnable on even ipad. or iphone, so might as well wait and see does it really so optimized or ("dumb" down for console)?

installing now from my retail copy, is 3 disc, will post up if i see above issue show in video.
cause i using low end, 9800gtx+ and core 2 duo E8200 with 2gb ram on win 7 only.

ow f.... i realy RAGE~!!! LoL, cannot install yet because is not launch yet.
Ohwell, when it was 4th October, but cannot install.. hrm, so what time is it not?

by the way, i think RAGE can be tweak, cause surely got console 1.
FOV and everything like mosue acceleration also should be able to tweak.

i still updating.... damn slow...
anyway, i already gathering up fixes and tweaks, and already implementing it.
So later after my game session tonight will post up a rough review before i sleep. but seriously, id tech 5 engine seem to be very... promising actually. is just their artist and so on might not be fully utilizing the engine to the full.

retail 1 all is not anarchy edition i think.

my card is 512mb, 9800gtx+ only, with all the tweaks and so on, is 60fps on 1440x900, but... texture poping issue is quite like the youtube. so i think i will stop 1st, see if there's any updates or fixes.

updates: if you have texture poping up and texture streaming problem. then the rageconfig.cfg doesnt fix it for u, u might want to NOT use the fix.

I actually just use the cache folder tweak, and then based on the nvidia tweak guide, the some maxPPF command, it works for me, texture pop up still there but is minimal if i doesnt move left to right so fast. and is steady 60fps, damn i love the 60fps.

try it out, the 4096 value for the fix actually make the game less pop up but the graphics is worst, so dont use the fix and let the RAGE auto-balancer works, and it will be better.

go do some tweak, and force the engine to use the 16k texture and u see la. now the engine potential is there, just need to tweak to push it to the max, while waiting for proper driver and patch.

just finally gotten a decent playable rate of texture oping and is awesome, i no regret buying it. the 1st shot of the shotgun made me fall in love again with id's game.

and i so love the minor minor easter egg all around. The bobble head on the buggy is soooo cute~~!! i want 1.

The shooting also is nice, the omp and impact is still there, satisfying, but maybe is cause i playing on normal. i just love those muties, running to me, i headbutt them and head shot them, nice... they charge to me, i side step melee then hs. nice....

Just hope they faster release patches and fixes, and drivers to solve those issue. definitely 1 of the most beautiful game so far.

patch is here, 125mb. hope it fixes something and not making it worst.

my texture poping is at the minimum after the patch + tweaks. i do my own tweaking to make it suit my rig.

i waiting for patch also.
