stock LC rims cannot be fitted with disc brakes,
unless lots of modification. so normally ppl will just buy 125z rims, complete with rear disc brakes set. price not sure, but around rm400+ IIANM |

FC depends on your riding style,
if slow and steady maybe jimat minyak for me, 110-120km/h average can get around 140-150km / full tank (4 litres). maintainence just like car, each 3000km change engine oil and oil filter, just easy lidat diff between SS and ES maybe on colours only, plus bigger front disc, hand clutch and rear lamp colour. |

depends on the engine oil type, if full synthetic could go up to 8000km.
semi synthetic up to 4000km, although in manual book it is recommended to change engine oil each 3000km. |

get lower what? ride height?
now using full synthetic one, brand Selenia Linx 4T (but heck, dunno why they call it Selenia since I can't even find that word on the bottle nor packaging costs me RM33, + RM12 for the oil filter. |

QUOTE(Are_keem @ Oct 26 2008, 06:04 PM) depends on the engine oil type, if full synthetic could go up to 8000km. I have tried to change engine oil at different mileage. 3000km is the best spot.semi synthetic up to 4000km, although in manual book it is recommended to change engine oil each 3000km. I am using full synthetic 10W-40 oil. 4000km the oil is a bit too thick. Performance still ok, but engine not so smooth 5000km, the oil is thick already. Performance degraded slightly at top rpm, engine not smooth. 6000km (written in manual book), the oil is damn thick, after oil change the engine feel so light and silent. I also noticed, oil change beyond 3000km will increase the fuel consumption, decreasing about 10km journey per full tank. When oil becomes thicker, fuel consumption become worse. 6000km change has bad FC, decreasing about 20km journey per full tank. I have a throttle indicator so I know roughly how much I throttle and what FC i will get. At 3000km, I am just changing the engine oil. Oil filter can be changed every 6000km.
