In January 2008, I caught in a minor accident and my front wheel started to feel floaty after that. The 'floaty' feel increased when i ride beyond 110kph and while doing heavy braking.
Yesterday I went to install front fork stabilizer and realign my front suspension. I also asked the boss to stiffen my front forks a lil (increase 10% stiffness). The results is AWESOME. Travelling at 140kph feels like nothing now. The front wheel is also very stable at full braking and the vertical G-force shifted to front wheel is very linear too. Here's some pic: ![]() ![]() Added on August 22, 2008, 5:42 pmI am using B.R.T. dual band smart click right now. ![]() Installed a switch to choose between pickup 'OFF' and top speed 'ON' In more technical terms OFF = 32 degree firing BTDC (which is set by me) to have more mid rpm Torque (sacrifice high rpm). ON = 34 degree firing BTDC (set by me too) to have achieve more torque at high rpm (sacrifice low rpm). Stock = 27 degree firing BTDC, good torque at low-mid range, but sux at high rpm. ![]() For sprocket, I have chosen 12-34 (2.833 final gear ratio). Stock is 15-39 (2.600). I have about 10% increase for torque on wheel. Very good pickup, but sacrifice top speed. Well, it suits me because I like to full throttle at very winding mountain passes. QUOTE(WaiKor @ Aug 11 2008, 12:36 AM) Yo dude, what power booster is that? What brand of racing coil are you using and mind to state the price? here's my full customization along with price: 1. 12-34 sprocket, RM45 2. B.R.T. racing CDI dual band smart click, RM400 3. Racing boy front fork stabilizer, RM80 4. Suzuki original fork rubber, RM30 5. White headlight (non HID) and small light, RM40 6. Front suspension readjustment + increase stiffness, RM80. 7. AHM semi-free flow exhaust, RM180 (going to install soon) Hmm... I can do 0 - 100kph in around 11.x seconds now.. |

QUOTE(Are_keem @ Aug 22 2008, 06:16 PM) this one hot or not? It's not very hot.scare the relay will melt if install aftermarket bulb your speedo had been modified or stock? if stock then hahaha stock la. For the actual 0 - 100kph (means 0 - 120kph), it takes about 13 seconds. Do you know where to find accurate speedo? How about RPM meter? Please enlighten me thanks |

got this pict from another forum. speedo is digital type one. but dunno about accuracy. it costs more than RM300 but if standard RPM meter, can find Koso brand, most accurate between all brand. it's a small meter than usually put at the bakul there. |

haha, u found from kom135.com?
do you know what's the brand? I am pretty interested on that panel. It looks nice. I heard of KOSO too, it is installed on the hole near the right hand bar. You can see it in the picture you posted I hope to get a panel which has speedo and rpm meter. I don't feel good using KOSO, because I feel that it is quite easily stolen by people. |
