Any sifu can help there?

Today when i start my wira car i heard a "quak" sound nearby the engine.
Then later when i drove out again, I started to hear loud noise like belt pulling "tak tak tak" and eil eik eik" sounds and got smoke come out nearby the engine area.
The smoke smelt like something is burning.

Any sifu know what happen to my cars?
I am afraid to drive out again and would like to know what cause it so I can repair it straight away if needed.

I am staying near Skudai away. Appreciate if you can recommend shop to repair as well..

Thanks

My sister just bought a Proton Saga FLX 2 from Urus Usaha Sdn Bhd 3 weeks ago.

On the first day, the brake showed red light immediately after she collected the car (still within the car dealer's premises). The dealer then sent the car to the workshop and the mechanic simply top up the brake oil and had us collected the car.

The nightmare started this afternoon when the brake suddenly malfunctioned when my sister was ON THE ROAD driving the car!!! of course, she then hit onto another car since the brake was not working at all !!!

Since it is only a 2-3 weeks car, she called the dealer from Urus Usaha Sdn Bhd but the saleslady didn't pick up her calls.
After much troubled, my sister finally managed to send the car back to Proton workshop (where Urus Usaha is). The mechanic, again, fasten some nuts and top up the brake oil, and told my sister "ok now".

How are we suppose to trust the car again? are we suppose to send the car back to the workshop every 2-3 weeks to fasten the nuts and top up the oil to prevent the brake from malfunction when we are driving ON THE ROAD ??? we could have kill ourselve and people on the road !!!

I called the saleslady from Urus Usaha and she said there is nothing she can do. She said once the car is sold, it is not the dealer's responsibility. She insisted me to talk to the workshop. She even told me to drive the car (with brake problem) to the workshop. I told her there is no way for me to drive the car on the road again given the car could possibly fail to brake anytime. She said in this case, I could just leave my car at home forever then. Of course, I refused the suggestion, a guy then took over the phone and shouted at me with obscene language, insulted my mother. I immediately raised my concern and requested for the manager's number. They refuse to give and insisted even the manager will not help me.

I totally understand I need to deal with the workshop about the car's problem, not the dealer. However, for goodness sake, this is only a 2-3 weeks car. Not even a month old. Shouldn't it be any after-sales services from Urus Usaha? instead of telling us "ta-ma-de (obscene language), there is nothing much we can do, drive the car to the workshop at your own risk, else leave it at your home forever". Is this the right attitude? the customer may not be always right, but they definitely deserve the right to ask about after sales questions (e.g. how about the accident, even though it was minor scractches, it was caused by a failed brake for a 2 weeks old car, should we report to polis or Urus? or compensate in cash to the person whose car got hit by us? etc etc... )
Seriously, I dun think the workshop will answer these questions. I dun even think they will fix my car plate even though it was indirectly caused by the failed brake.

Anyone know who can I feedback to?

Write a detailed report & send it to Proton HQ. No point going back to said dealer/wkshop.
Best wishes & good luck!

Call i-Care, complain about the dealer and SC, then try to get them to arrange for a tow truck to bring your car to CoSE for a thorough check.

In the meantime, feel free to file a complain to the consumer's tribunal against the dealership, the SC or even Proton.

Big Company but Irresponsible & Liar!!

I like proton products so much especially Exora, after some consideration i decided to change my imported car & buy Exora indirectly I’m supporting Proton (Malaysia Products). Unfortunately, i got a worst experiences in my whole life from the early stage of buying till the delivery date.

My purpose of writing this is to share my unburden dissatisfaction with prod & svc from car supplier that sheltering under Proton company namely URUS USAHA SDN BHD Johor Bahru. During buying process, I’ve been cheated by their sales advisors (Avelyn & Eddie) quibble the car date of issuance. They forced me to make full payments reason being the car has arrived & already in their store. After 2 days made payments I still couldn’t get my car & I suspected something is not right. I forced them to tell me the truth & eventually they admitted the car is still not arrived & put all the blame on Proton for late delivery.

They even asked me to follow up with Proton myself & stop chasing them. I bought directly with them not with Proton so why should I chase Proton instead of them? I will not be so mad if they’re telling the truth from the beginning but instead of being honest they actually didn’t admit/accept it was their mistakes & put the blame on others.

On 4/4/11 I went to U.Usaha for my car’s status, at last staff from the registration counter informed that the car has arrived & can be released that day itself. Waited for almost (7hrs), I was shocked when they told that my car meet with a minor accident while their staff taking my car from the store to the dealer’s place. Really, I’m speechless I thought there’s no more problem but I was wrong. Results from the accident on the left side front fender & front door was damaged & spoilt.

I didn’t want to bring the car back and requested a new vehicle as it was spoilt before hands over to me but they forced me to bring back reason being all the registration & delivery process done. They ask me to come back on 4/4/11 for repairing process & they promised to change new fender & door as per requested by me.

On 4/4/11 I went U.Usaha in the morning for the repairing process but the staff told me there’s no upper level officer who can actually approve on the repairing instruction. Next day 5/4/11 I went again & this time they refused to replace it with a new fender & door, they can only repair & spray the affected area. I am so sad & mad I’ve wasted my time, fuel money infect I’ve to take an emergency leave from my employer in order to settle this issues.

After occurred small argument they decided to change with a new one instead of repair & spray. They asked me to sent my car to their workshop accompanied by one of their staff & leave it there. On 6/4/11 I went to the workshop to see how’s my car condition, again and again I’m shocked & sad as the mechanic only repair, cement & ready to spray. Where are their promises? Is it fair for me to face this kind of issue due to other’s negligence? I bought a new prod so I should be getting a new ones not the damage/spoilt prod. I’m just wondering how come a big & fantastic company such as Proton can have this kind of dealers to sell/promote Proton’s prod & make customer disappointed. My family members advice me to go to the press & tribunal department for further action & make awareness to the civilians to be more careful & make sure they’ll not going to face the same issues as mine.

Thank you.

Ya... read quite a few posts against Urus Usaha Sdn Bhd (Johor Bahru). This is not the first time they gives shitty after sales service. Some even file official complaints.
p/s: I did told the saleslady to arrange a tow truck to bring my car to the workshop for a thorough check. Guess what? the foreman came to our house instead, 2 days after my call. As you might already know, the foreman said: no problem. I didn't know a foreman can perform a "thorough check" onsite. Maybe next time I need not to drive my car to the workshop and wait for hours just for a routine check. Just pay them to come onsite for a "thorough check".

Hi guys,

wanna ask for some suggestion here.
After 38k mileage, currently there is some sharp sound (gosok besi) coming from the front right. I guess it is the brake pad almost finished?

Any good brand/model for gen-2 please?

Hello, I'm having some alarm issues with the alarm I installed that calls my phone if there's a break in.

I've just recently changed my proton saga blm battery (the no maintenance one) and my car alarm suddenly stopped beeping.

It still works, it can unlock/lock the car and call my phone when I simulate a break in (lock car door then manually open) but there's no sound. Is there a way to reset the sound?

As far as I can tell, the two photos showing the same exact Preve with the same exact damage at the same exact location albeit shot at a different angle, looks exactly the same. hmm.gif
