You don't see 3 SC thread despite ppl having LFC, JOP, WM. You don't see 3 PBB threads despite ppl having QM, QV, VS, VI. Or many Citi threads despite ppl having PM, CB, Clear, Prestige etc.

So if there's an issue unique to MBB, then ppl can find from a single thread instead of searching for 324764325353 threads.

attempted to apply grab card from the website, the address was the previous address ( I moved ), and the website there asked me to call CS to update my address.

In the end the CS just asked me to go to the settings and update my saving account address, and when I waited for 2 days and go back to the application website, my address is still not changed. (CS in the phone told me I need to wait 24hours)

Sometimes I wonder how even some Maybank CS get their job? Simply give solutions simply entertain customer. Nice.

Anyway, what else can I do? Besides calling them again?

2) contact cs to update it
3) will take fee days to reflect

Since the Shopee card has 4x coins when we do contactless transaction on special days...

Shall the transaction exceed RM250, I tap the card on the machine first then enter pin code as per SOP, am I still eligible for 4x coins?

Yeah that should work. Just many merchant don’t know that you can still wave even if more than 250

My statement due date (26th) coming soon for Grab card but i have yet to receive my physical card (stupid poslaju team since 28th August till now !!)

I still can make the payment online, right?

I was not very happy when TS added another product to the existing thread. I knew it will be a problem later when the card product gains popularity.
I would have preferred a slow and conventional organic growth as what bro @cybpsych mentioned. Allowing new card product when it has gained strength and enough traction - allowing it as a general product discussion before having its own thread. hmm.gif Maybe I should consider it for new cc products from hereon and also to have provisions for thread closure resulting from product discontinuation.

I let it proceed with a stern warning to TS, allowing the problem of 2 card products in one thread to materialise on its own + realisation from the members itself vs preemptively disagreeing with it which I will likely be misunderstood as overly exerting control in the forums.

Anyway ... to address the members query - you may approach the existing TS first on whether he/she willing to diverse this thread into 2 products before approaching me. This decision is up to the TS. As usual same rules/application applies to any new TS applicant as usual.

Yeah, some Maybank CS are indeed terrible. I could not use my new MBB Grab card for FPX transactions although I could use my existing Amex for that. The error message was "Transaction declined. Please contact bank". I contacted CS and was told there was no attempt to charge at all on their side, so she cannot see what was the problem. She said since there was no attempt at all, it was not the bank that declined my transaction. I asked if I needed to enable anything to use that card for FPX and was told it was not necessary. I asked her what else can I do and she said there was nothing else I could do, and there was nothing she could do to help me either. What kind of solution is that? mad.gif

Obviously, the problem is with Maybank and not the merchant. I was able to use other banks' cards with FPX. I could even use my Amex but surprisingly, I could not use my Grab or even FCB card for FPX. Only one card worked but not the rest. I wonder if anyone has similar issue and managed to solve it. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Yeah, some of the guys here are indeed more knowledgeable than the so-called professional CS staff. I once contacted Maybank CS regarding the issue with FPX for GIA-i placement. My money was deducted from the source bank but it was not reflected in GIA-i account. He did not know what GIA-i was, so I told him it was General Investment Account-i. When he heard the word investment, he immediately asked me to contact my broker or Maybank Investment Bank as they only deal with deposit accounts. This coming from a Maybank staff? I had to educate him that GIA-i is a product of Maybank Islamic and nothing to do with share investment. doh.gif He did not manage to solve my problems at all even after waiting for days. Luckily, another CS that I contacted through e-mail managed to solve it for me but it still took weeks to get the money refunded to my account. vmad.gif

For those that has maybank Cc only. How do u link it to maybank2u? The new interface. Been asking CS for 1 month but they keep on saying cannot.

I have to use the old interface everytime

MBB Shopee gold coins for my 12 Sept Statement still not update on Shopee app. Fastest update was first month got the cc during launch. Now getting worst.
