Seems the Big 3 celcos have ganged up together to "bully" all blacklisted subscribers, some of whom were in dire financial straits or had valid reasons to not pay the celcos. Maybe consumers should boycott the Big 3 celcos as well.

Nobody knows what Digi's criteria for selecting which customers get offered this. Not even the selected users themselves.

And it looks like most of us who are selected are precisely the ones who are not interested. Including me.

For digi, we can still register for postpaid even we are blacklisted. But we need to stay longer from their prepaid section with good monthly reloaded. Me tried 2 nos from. digi and both succeeded.
For celcom, any agent from telcolab can do it with minimal fee but the due must not more than rm2k.
Maxis however, not possible at all.

Nope... I tried recently Digi no go... Detected blacklist, trus the customer service amoi say very softly, "encik saya sudah cek system, encik ada outstanding di Celcom dan sistem ckp encik kena settle sana dulu lepas tuh baru kita boleh proceed...
