WITHOUT THE ABILITY TO HOTSPOT/TETHERING YOU'LL JUST END UP WITH MULTIPLE PREPAID SIMs

Ok now that we got that out of the way, this is how I juggle between prepaid plans.

Digi - RM15 Cili Padi 6GB Unlimited Youtube n Facebook

Pros - can hotspot my phone and watch youtube via iPad or TV via appleTV connecting to the hotspot.

Cons - Apart from Social media n Free Youtube thats about it. 6GB isn't that much but for RM15 consider ok lar

Celcom - RM 12 Unlimited Weekly with 1Gb hotspot (yucks)

Pro- Have to swap n use sim card to update apps, firmware, or watch netflix on iPad.

Cons - It sucks because the current number is my main line. So when put inside iPad no calls receive...

Yoodo 20GB + call/sms + 20GB Netlfix

Pros - iPad walkabout sim... For watching netflix OTG
Cons - Redundant with Celcom Xpax Unlimited

Hotlink - Didn't bother with them... Using maxis/hotlink for so long, none of their data plan is worth it except for One Home Unlimited postpaid.

So in short, with the limit of hotspot/tethering, expect to buy multiple simcard for multiple usage... Why can't these bloody telco just enable tethering??? Is it so hard to do?

Postpaid out of question... Join telco blacklist recently... Being a maxis customer since 1999 with One Club elite status, MCO comes to effect, got UPL, cannot pay monthly bill, terus they terminate... The most frustrating part is, not only my number used for everything from google, facebook, appleid, online bankin TAC, and what not, my moms phone number since 2000 also terminated because her maxis number was under my name...

3x phone numbers, 1 home broadband account all terminated. FU maxis...

If that unifi postpaid then forget it, telco BL

Dunno... Never throttled... Keeps going since april till now on my TV, my iPad, and my phone...

Doesn't have a data cap but speed cap is definitely there... Dont expect to stream smoothly at 720p and above...

I understand that notion but although I can have 4/5 device connected via hotspot, I cant use them all at ones right... Unless its a PC or playstation, where can download tons of GBs of data while using ipad or phone for browsing facebook or watching youtube

Haihhhh if only my TV or AppleTV can somehow cucuk simcard.... Haihhhh...

Dunno... At first i bought the 6gb at 35...the got offer for 4+2gb at 15 so i just bought it since it has the unlimited youtube n sosmed... Plus the 1am-8am free 1gb... But this no free calls/sms...

Already try my luck last week with Digi, kenot... Detects me got telco BL by Maxissssss

Im using yoodo rm40 now... 20gb promo plus rm10 fit netflix n rm10 for youtube...

Unifi Air also accepts BL i heard... The 79 per month plan... Think I wanna test out to see if can watch netflix or not..

The amount of money I owe Maxis, I need several months of work to pay it off...

Nope... I tried recently Digi no go... Detected blacklist, trus the customer service amoi say very softly, "encik saya sudah cek system, encik ada outstanding di Celcom dan sistem ckp encik kena settle sana dulu lepas tuh baru kita boleh proceed...

Try to register my reserve prepaid digi number to postpaid becauae sick of topupping every month and not using. A number I had since 2010...

I didn't get the digi staff call scenario, i just walk in digi center and try my luck. 🚶🤞

Owh well it seems that i need to wait for the sales person frim digi to offer me then.. 😴😴

To ensure i stop topupping i sub to the yearly activation RM108 so i no need to topup monthly...

Btw, its not maxis who blacklist me, it was celcom back from 2002...🧐🥴🤦‍♀️

Mine is a register postpaid n get free phone... After digging some history i found out that the reason behind my blaclist is because my brother wanted to get a Nokia 3315 with low cash upfront...

I remember vaguely but he said that he would get the phone this month and would cancel the plan n pay up for the phone in full... Which he failed to do apparently...
