Are you trying to register prepaid or postpaid?

From his experience, he uses prepaid plan and is contacted from digi staff giving him the promotion to upgrade to postpaid even when he is blacklisted

I upgrade my no. twice, for digi must be from their prepaid upgraded to postpaid. Both successful. Try to upgrade via online, the result will be rejected but somehow few days later sales person from digi called and offer the upgrade.
Kalau pergi digi center memang kena shouh shouh la đŸ€ŁđŸ€Ł

Ahh reserve number, that's why

They didn't see you committing to monthly plan

Afraid you wouldn't pay later on

But their ARPU will increase because you want to change to postpaid so I dunno lol

hmm..
okay lets make it around 10GB maximum..

well... seems like such waste if u go for unlimited.. because those who buy it normally close eye 50GB minimum one dry.gif

speed is capped...
but usable for most tasks...
should be non issues...

but since yours already pay rm30.. add another 5.. then okay lorh...
just u waste on the FUP given... it's okay.. give & take sweat.gif

Btw, its not maxis who blacklist me, it was celcom back from 2002...đŸ§đŸ„ŽđŸ€Šâ€â™€ïž

so the speed is really 16 Mbps (current celcom 4g speed) vs 3 Mbps? Yeah I might just skip this if that's the case.

Seems the Big 3 celcos have ganged up together to "bully" all blacklisted subscribers, some of whom were in dire financial straits or had valid reasons to not pay the celcos. Maybe consumers should boycott the Big 3 celcos as well.

Even better..
Less users means less congestion issues... 😁
Those currently using can stream faster 👍

In Jan 2019, while being blacklisted by Maxis, I could still subscribe to UMobile postpaid GX50 phone plan. Maybe the smaller celcos and MVNOs accept BL subscribers for postpaid.

UMobile could have changed terms after Jan 2019, ie maybe it has since proclaimed itself as a Big Celco.

Anyway, I checked my own verification by UMobile for the Hero P139 plan and surprisingly I am not blacklisted by Maxis. Wonder why.?

In Jan 2019, I checked with a Maxis Store in a shopping mall to try to register for Maxis Home Fiber and the staff told me I was on the celcos' blacklist - maybe under UMobile blacklist because when I next tried to register for GX50, the UMobile center staff told me I had an outstanding 3-year-old last monthly bill of RM40 - I thought UMobile had cleared all my bills when I closed that old postpaid mobile broadband account at that same center 3 years ago. So, I was "forced" to pay that 3-year-old outstanding bill, in order to register for GX50. I did not receive any email or letter about the outstanding UMobile bill for 3 years. This could be another celco "money scam". .......

Mine blacklisted by celcom too, way back somewhere during the 3G era. When a digi people called me up to offer me postpaid from my current prepaid, I told her that I have default payment with celcom. She said digi know that, and that matter is between me and celcom but since I am committed 'beautifully' with digi prepaid, I am chosen to have the green light đŸ€. The upgrade process took just within a minute and received sms that I am with new plan, the postpaid.

Seems. I am also not blacklisted by Celcom = it could have been UMobile who had put me on the celco-blacklist in Jan 2019, and not Maxis. .......
