For me it's the CONSUMERS that has to be blamed... We "MUST" read their TnCs before commit... If they really "cheated", go for legal actions as CONSUMERS' rights...

The Telco is doing their stunts to attract CONSUMERS... we as the CONSUMERS have to be cautious ...

well based on celcom's history, if it says "limited time promo" means the "unlimited internet" won't be available in the future which is suck. I wonder about Maxis though, will the unlimited offer available forever albeit price increase?

When Maxis HUP35 (= RM30 per month) subscribers haved used up 50GB of data, they will be throttled to 0.5Mbps for the rest of the month. At 0.5Mbps, the subscribers can still use about another 40GB to 190GB of data by doing a lot of video-streaming at 240p on their phones.

The celcos make less money from heavy-data-users, even by imposing monthly FUP limits.

Update: I was able to do the speedtest at www.speedtest.net just now at about 11:30pm = 10.12Mbps d/l and 5.90Mbps u/l. Seems, things are getting back to normal with UMobile's network. .......

If confirmed to be true, other GX38 users who may also use > 80GB of data in 2 days should be made aware that UMobile will throttle them.

If true, wonder if those who use about 4GB daily(= 80GB in 20 days) will also be throttled by UMobile on the 21st day till the 30th day.

I think 83.6GB in 2 days is not azhar75's normal usage of his Internet. He was just quickly testing out the monthly FUP limit of the new GX38 plan vs his other Celcom XUP35 which likely has a monthly FUP limit of at least 100GB but it is a limited time offer only = XUP35 may be gone after 2 or 3 months.

If azhar75 is still being throttled by UMobile, this means the monthly FUP limit of his GX38 plan is very likely 80GB, which is still much better than Maxis HUP35's monthly FUP limit of 50GB.

Maybe you can later report to us the monthly FUP limit for your GX30 plan during normal usage of 2GB to 4GB per day, ie using up 80GB near the end of your 30-days pass/addon. Also the throttled speed. I will try to do the same for my GX50 plan - end of my monthly billing period is 7 July 2020.

Your GX38 shows 112.56GB of data used up to the 3rd day. Yesterday, ie on the 2nd day, your GX38 showed 83.37GB used and you stated that your GX38 was being throttled by UMobile to 0.05Mbps to 0.23Mbps after you had  used > 80GB of data = UMobile's monthly FUP limit was 80GB. 
....... How come today you could use another 29GB of data on your GX38 while still being throttled by UMobile at 0.05Mbps to 0.23Mbps.?

Looks like we may not need to test whether UMobile's monthly FUP limit is 80GB for GX plans since azhar75 latest post above about him legally abusing data shows that it is not 80GB and he was not throttled by UMobile at > 80GB data usage because he could use another 29GB of data on the 3rd day.

So azhar75 had likely pancut awal and posted "fake news" about UMobile GX38 having a monthly FUP limit of 80GB. If so, of course he would give excuses for his "fake news". MCMC.?

My area here Maxis and TNB pull their own fibre cables, not necessarily using TM HSBB fibre infra.

I remember @Khuan0813 says he stays near Station 18 in Ipoh. I suggest he go the the nearby 7-Eleven and see the manhole on the road. The metal cover has Maxis logo on it. Maxis is busy digging and laying cables all along the road there.
