Ya, based on the post that post here they pretty much the same except speed.wish they had more cap on 45 plan why the same as 35

All telcos... Nope... Sorry can't help on that one...

Nperf is only as good as its volunteer contributors from each network.

Any reliable site to check coverage?most telco own overage site look not reliable and not accurate too.

"Transparent". Not even a mention of this on their app lol. Maxis only added the it on their website after they got found out

Perhaps you may try to call MCMC or Ministry of Communication for a "clue"...


Hypothesis answers from them:
1) We don't have all Telcos (including YES) coverage combined into one map.
2) We cannot share the data with public.
3) "Tai-chi" culture.

Just use the app...

No telco is willing to give its total coverage data to a 3rd-party site. Even the coverage maps in their own websites are software calculations of the predicted coverage of the cell towers, not real-time monitoring.

The best you can do is the general sites like nperf, OpenSignal and now Speeedtest by Ookla. They will never give you the complete picture because all their information is based by their users' contributions.

You can also try GSM Association maps:

but I don't know how up to date it is. All the telcos we've been discussing in this forum are members of the GSM Association.

Another method is to use CellMapper combine with Network Cell Info Lite
to check your area for the nearest tower.

Cell Mapper to identify roughly the tower location , and the Network Cell Info app to measure signal strenght.

I use this to hunt down the tower by noting the enb-LCID first and then note the signal strength, kinda like paranormal activity hunting

Once your signal strength gets stronger and stronger (provided its locked to the same enB-LCID) then you have found the tower.

Example is a DIGI tower I found. By luck its because the fibre termination box gave out the clue.



Most base towers are secretive; meaning they wont even put a label - Maxis , DIGI, Celcom, etc.
