Hi Jurusilat,

May I know the fees per month, classes time-table? Are you teaching sports BJJ (with gi) or no gi or MMA? Any standup other than throws & takedowns?

Thanks.

Well I'm not the instructor, but normally BJJ is taught with the gi. I'm sure the instructor will be doing some no-gi as well.

AS far as I know, classes are scheduled on Mondays and Thursdays at 8pm. The fees I can't remember, but you can check out the blog that I posted above.

Hi there,

In regards to you question:

1. Coming from Puchong, go straight till you reach SS24/SS2/SS4 (you can head to Ming Tien food court) fly over, make a u-turn at the fly over. Go pass Kelana Jaya Putra LRT station. After the station, go slow. Keep left as you will have to turn left the minute you see one. Turn left again after the first turn. Go to the end of the row of the shops fronting LDP. Ding is located above a pastry/bakery shop.

2. Entrance fee: RM 50. Membership fee: RM 30
Prepaid package: RM 180 = 8 classes (to be used in 3 months)
One class = RM 30.
Every Monday and Tuesday 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm

Monday, Oct 1, 2007 was a free trial class. Participation was very good. Participants from all types of martial art.

It is always good to have a gi.

Hi there Morph,

So you're the one with the knee guard.
Anyway, there was about 20 of us. Karate-ka, judo-ka, TKD, BJJ and god knows what else.

I felt the time period wasn't enough. Quico is very humble and friendly.

MFLooi,
Yeah biggrin.gif I was the one with knee guard.
After 2 years of hiatus from martial arts training, I'm real happy to be training again.
Need to get back in shape, my abs hurts now tongue.gif

Yeah, agree with u. Should make it 2 hours tongue.gif
"We Learn From Each Other" <--- that's thumbup.gif

Which one was you la?
Thank you so much for the directions you gave me, sorry I forgot to mention it earlier tongue.gif

jurusilat,
I want to go on Thursday + sign up, but hope everything goes well.
The only drawback of joining the classes is the distance im staying ... it's 30km away from my home.
Currently im on semester break and will resume classes on 8th October, not sure if im able to cope.

sigh~

The same problem im facing with KDTA, wanted to join them too last time, but its too far.
And which guy was you ? tongue.gif

Well if you sign up Thursday, I'll come say "hi". wink.gif

ps. Dont let distance deter you. I remember back in my uni days having to travel more than an hour to train in JKD. If you really are determined to learn, then you gotta go for it!...

Morph,

Please don't let distance deter you. I'm guessing that you are driving?
I live nearby Kajang. Next month onwards, my mode of transport is LRTs.

Don't dwell on the negative elements. Please do not let the distance become an excuse.

Yeah, it's pricey.

I got it from KDTA.
It's a Gameness Platinum Weave. According to Gameness's website, it's the highest range Gi.
http://www.gameness.com/gear.htm

I decided to get a good one since I'm going to be serious about it. hahaha! icon_idea.gif

Check out with KDTA for your GIs, if you really want a BJJ and not those Aikido and Judo.
