I long time never follow reits already. But last time I know market dive reits never even move. Few years back.

Go compare it against index. And you will see what I mean.

No. You don't understand what I meant. Go compare parkway life and index and see who drop more. Thars the power of cash equivalent stocks. They won't drop much during sell down.

not same risk investment also

MMF is more for fund parking but REITs and dividend stocks are somehow not so suitable for parking.  nod.gif
*
MMF is only good for weekly parking while REITs and dividend stocks are more for quarterly parking hence it is better for medium term parking as compared to MMF

Even local REITs at rm0.01 gain still close to 1% monthly gain compared to MMF

The only difference is the settlement time

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Aug 4 2021, 03:03 PM)
Actually there are reits which are super stable and suitable as parking place. One of them is parkway life REIT.
*
Before COVID 20 used to be even better but still consistent as it recession proof trust hence stable dividend stocks

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Aug 4 2021, 07:37 PM)
For those in sg market only one REIT can do that. Parking place and that's parkway life.

If you go us market so many companies can function as parking place. You only need to look.
*
Even UK, Germany Australia France has many those companies which ones need to take time to find out just that ppl lazy for gains instead doh.gif

Hi all,

I have some questions.

Recently, FD rates are low now. It is a good investment to consider money market fund since it is low fees as compare to other types of unit trust fund and waiting time to withdraw is probably about 2 days with no charges.

The typical return to investor is 6 months or one year based on the NAV at that time.

Does my understanding correct?

Will it be the return for money market fund will lower than banks FD promo rate about 2.80%?

FD have tenure. Get the dividend when tenure mature. Some impose penalty if not yet mature.
MM no tenure. Some dividend annually some monthly. Up to 2.4% p.a. rates almost same with FD.

Just dump into Versa better liquidity with 1 business day withdrawal and fortnightly payout

SA simple forget about too slow 3 days to process withdrawals with monthly payout doh.gif

just an update, for the cash management product (KDI Save) they have
same case like what I posted in Stashaway thread on the of their product - KDI invest

despite registered and logged in, there is no info of what they're investing in, no product highlight sheet and whatsoever
which is kinda disturbing to me, not sure how SC nod head on such solution approval
