High refresh display doesnt guaranteed fast performance.
It's like car max speed, doesnt mean you can always reach top speed all the time at all kind of road.

A badly optimized apps or resource heavy apps, that give 40fps for example, WILL BE 40fps on 120Hz display. Maybe MEMS ( display tech ) will help to create 'fake' illusions.

High refresh display, ONLY benefit apps that CAN REACHED 120fps, or performed above 60fps.
So mostly high refresh display are for gamers, who play games that actually support fast refresh rate.

True, but it seems the pandemic hasn’t deterred people’s ability to spend on phones... I’ve been seeing flash sales on online platform for phones being snapped up really fast even during the MCO.
