Only SD855+ (no 5G) and LCD screen, though you do get a high refresh rate screen.

If price is the same with f2p, which one will you choose?

Good question. I do prefer Realme UI over MIUI though the main purpose of getting the F2 Pro would be to try the SD865 chipset, hahaha. We'll see

I have never use realme phones before haha
realme x3 looks good, depends on price to be honest, but i might go for realme x3 mainly for more ram and storage. snapdragon 855 Plus should be good enough for me. but depends on the final pricing too. still have to wait and see:
"In Europe, the Realme X3 SuperZoom with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage is officially priced at EUR 499 (about RM2,389). That’s the same price as the Poco F2 Pro base model that’s equipped with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage."

DisplayLink is a tech certified to run on any Android devices be it smartphones or Tablets. We also need to install the DisplayLink Presenter Driver in the smartphones/tablets in order to stream via the DisplayLink Dock/Adapter.
Below is the accessories for the F1:

For Android platform, those flagships from Sammy, Who-R-We and OnePlus are confirmed to have display output "built-in" into the USB-C port. So, just buy any ordinary USB-C to HDMI cable will do. No need to buy DisplayLink Dock/Adapter.
But flagships from Xiaomi/Poco/etc. does not have built-in display output in their USB-C port. So, to be on the safe side, just get the DisplayLink Dock/Adapter and 100% any Android devices (Smartphones/Tablets) will be able to have display out features. But, DisplayLink Dock/Adapter is not cheap because it is a "license" (like the Qualcomm Quick Charge license) and no competitor out there yet. So, they control the market.
One more reason why Xiaomi/Poco "flagships" are cheap:

Thank you for this detailed explanation. Appreciate it a lot!
Ya bro, I'm choosing between going for either the Realme X3 Superzoom or the Poco F2 Pro at launch - leaning towards the former coz it's cheaper by 200 bucks
Between the two, poco f2 pro is definitely superior.
In terms of camera and processor. Also got things like headphone jack. I’m also thinking if want to pre-order but hate the fact it don’t have HDMI output. I like the fact it doesn’t have notch.
actually, poco malaysia (if there is Malaysia subs) is clever, last few days they announced 2199 and 2599 respective prices. made most people pissed off. then out of the sudden they announced rm1999 special price on 10th Jun. clever2. but Realme lagi clever potong jalan announced flash sales on 2th Jun rm1799. kebas first some of the potential buyers. bravo this 2 companies!! I am impressed hehe
Yeap the psychological warfare that we consumers must go through.
Actual rrp of poco f2 pro is actually RM1999 but they make you believe you are getting a deal. Who can resist that?
5G in SD865 phones is not integrated inside the chip though. If they actually wanna put 5G, I think they can just add the 5G modem just like Mi Mix 3 5G and Mi 9 Pro 5G.
You are right, but with snapdragon 865, Qualcomm makes it compulsory to have 5G. So you are guaranteed 5G if you bought any snapdragon 865 phone this year.
TBH not that useful for me, if not useless. Now most TV support wireless casting already. I can just cast youtube played on my phone to TV with 1-2 steps.

Precisely. I've never used DeX on any of the Samsung flagship phones I've owned. Not once
Cause before this you gotta spend for flagship phones to experience this, with android 10, android desktop mode comes to all android 10 phones.
And with third party developers now devoloping their own skin for android desktop mode, it will be more useful in the future.
i find most China and Taiwan brand is suck for after sales service
QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Jun 8 2020, 06:22 PM)
I think I can say my experience differs from yours. Most of the taiwanese pc hardware that I bought has great after sales support, whereas those american brands has really poor support taking months for simple RMA. Yeah, they do replaced it in the end but not after being sent in for months. Apple sent back the same iPad with backlight bleeding after weeks. Mushkin merely gave a RM140 credit for a failed SSD after months.
Only positive with a western company would be Western Digital.
Lets not make it western vs china/asia la, good stuff just buy.
nope how u see it western vs asia ? sony, samsung, lg, toshiba, hitachi and many good asia brands. My office in China and all those brand (huawei included) provide excellence after sales n good warranty but not in Malaysia.
the person just now gave apple and china brand as example. anyways point is, just buy good stuff. nowadays china makes a lot of good stuff, US also makes a lot of good stuff. there's no need to take sides.
6g version is ddr4 and UFS 3.0, is that make any huge different ?
At that price better get other phones like oneplus 8 already. if you're looking at poco f2 pro, only the "base" rm1999 makes sense to me. anything more, they are better alternatives out there like realme x2 pro, huawei p40, oneplus 8, galaxy s20 (need to top up a bit more - can get around rm3000 nowadays)
