magika what currency? if SGD, it's FOC (make sure you manually convert to SGD already before you send out). so can't say it'll charge for all
*
Before I post it I check on sending money and it shows fees even on same currency. Now I check it does not shows any fees. Must be an anomaly.

If your are sending the same currency as your recipient's Wise wallet e.g Sender (SGD) to Recipient (SGD), there should be no fees. Fees are charged only when you need to convert, say from MYR to SGD before your send as your recipient is not having a MYR wallet.
Not long ago, I tested this out, I sent S$1 to my daughter's MYR wallet. Wise converted my S$1 and charged S$0.01 as fees. My daughter received MYR3.28 (exchange rate was S$1=MYR3.3141).

I just noticed Wise's feature that auto exchange at a preferred rate.

I believe it's a new feature, never knew about it before this...

Just felt like sharing a bit smile.gif

I am travelling in China now. Surprisingly I can use my wife's Wise card to top up my Alipay balance. However, I can't do the same thing to transfer to hers.

Very peculiar issue. People seems to be able to transfer using Wise to my Alipay but not vice versa.

So, you can try it but be prepared that chances are higher that it will fail.

Both have pros and cons. You need to know yr usage patterns and amount. What is best for a person may not be best for others

If you swiped transaction is in RMB, it will deduct RMB first.

datolee32 you can FPX into Wise any amount above RM10

e.g., you have RM33.44 in Wise, just topup RM16.56 into wise. your Wise now have RM50.00. you should know what to do next
