Stopped using Wise since they increase fees, SunwayMoney better just the remittance not as fast as Wise but just maybe an hour slower

Anyone's MYR transfer from wise to local bank taking exceptionally long? Usually it's instantaneous but this time it is taking more than one day and still processing.

What is the amount you transferring? If big amount it’ll get delayed. So I usually do small batches.

Using Wise for IDR remittances currently. Seems fast and rates / fee still decent vs BigPay. Any other platforms I should consider or are better?

Curious if anyone did a comparison before on which funding method below is more cost effective (based on the final received USD amount). Assuming funding amount is like RM20k.

#1.
- Local bank -> Sunway Money (MYR -> MYR)
- Sunway Money -> CIMB SG (MYR -> SGD)
- CIMB SG -> IBKR (SGD -> SGD)
- IBKR internal exchange (SGD -> USD)

#2.
- Local bank -> Wise (MYR -> MYR)
- Wise -> IBKR (MYR -> USD)

Can you use SunwayMoney from the comfort of your own home? If you can, then WISE has more competition now. More competition is always better.

let's say I travel to Australia.
in my WISE account, I have MYR wallet, USD wallet and Euro wallet.
how will I know which wallet it will deduct from if I use the card in Australia? can this be set manually?

Skylinestar to protect your USD/Euro, can open Jar and move the funds there. Wise will not double convert from money inside Jar without permission

Move all currencies to be protected into jars. And if you want to manually control, you can pre-convert to AUD and ensure it has more than what you are going to charge. Wise has a Auto-conversion feature that allows you to convert from 1 currency to another at your specified rate.

Hi, just tried to top up to my TNG ewallet using Wise debit card but the TNG app says "Failed to add money". Is it because TNG app does not accept cards that are issued outside of Malaysia such as Wise? Or is it because the amount is too big (I am transferring RM5k using Wise debit card)

Currently waiting 2 hour cooling off period to test Boost app but I'm not sure if Boost will charge the convenient fee of 0.75% to debit card.

ThE-1cY you are not the first one i know to have issue with sending over from Wise Debit to TnG. however, the other guy retried the next day and it went through to TnG with no issues

Just tried to reload RM100 into TNG using Wise debit card and it was successful. But it is still not useful for me because I would need to transfer at least RM5k every month from Wise into any local bank.

Tried to use Boost App to reload, able to add Wise debit card successfully but can't "tap" the card to reload. It's really a joker app.
