The best way to expect from the night race is our own Merdeka endurance tongue.gif
Kinda like that.
Bright light etc.
But that's in SIC.
F1 is in the street...we'll see smile.gif

But P-F1ers don't mean that in a good way. What they mean is that Lewis Hamilton seems to disregard the rules - as well as his team-mate - like Schumi did in the past...

Now yes, Lewis did a mistake by not exactly following team's instructions. But does that gives alonso the right to break FIA rules, to impede a driver?

Me, the answer is no. Let the team deal with Lewis, why go break the rules and get himself penalize? It's not up to Alonso to punish Lewis, and there's no justification to breaking rules and impeding other driver.

Just because Lewis did something wrong, doesn't mean its ok for Alonso to do something wrong too smile.gif
*
Alonso didn't have any right to break FIA rules but still, the biggest culprit is Lewis. Lewis didn't make a mistake, he deliberately chose to ignore team orders. That, I feel, is worse than Alonso's simply stopping in the pitlane.

I think the night race will be brightly lit up with spotlights all over the circuit...
F1 sports is a dangerous sport and it is in no mean to sacrifice visibility just for the heck of it...

I felt the same too. Lewis is being irresponsible by disobeying team order. It shows a lack of respect to Ron. shakehead.gif
His actions screwed up the team's strategy and Alonso does not help at all.
As much I hate Alonso, I feel for for him.

But I totally agreed Lewis started the mess. doh.gif

I feel for him too.
Like a step son in his team.
As a double WDC, he wants more from the team.
And he's not treated like one in his team.

Lewis already showed his 'color' and not so innocent anymore plus when he 'F' Ron.
'Besar kepala' already.

McLaren tell Alonso: Go if you want?

Ron Dennis is so fed up he has told Fernando Alonso he can go if he wants, according to reports in the press.

Fernando Alonso has allegedly been told if he does want to leave McLaren-Mercedes at the end of this year, then the Woking-based outfit will allow him to do that, if he so desires.

According to reports by British newspaper, The Times a 'well-placed source', which was not identified, has confirmed that McLaren boss, Ron Dennis has informed the double world champion that if he is really unhappy with things then the door is open.

"My understanding is that he's been told he can go because they're so fed up with him," the source told the broadsheet 'paper. "Ron is just very p***ed off with both of them [namely Alonso and Britain's Lewis Hamilton]."

Alonso has, so the rumours go, been unhappy for quite a bit of the season, as he believes that Hamilton is getting preferential treatment.

The dispute at the Hungarian Grand Prix at the weekend, which culminated in Alonso losing his pole position and being bumped down to sixth on the grid, while the team was not allowed to score constructors' points - a ruling McLaren have yet to confirm whether or not they will appeal against - left Ron extremely unhappy.

In the same report, Dennis noted: "We have two drivers who are contracted for several years into the future. We will respect our part of the bargain - we hope that the drivers respect theirs, because that's what a contract is about.

International Court of Appeal date set
ICA keen to show transparency in hearing

QUOTE
As we reported this morning, the International Court of Appeal (ICA) will meet in the second week of September to determine the fate of the McLaren Mercedes team. The following is a statement from the FIA.

"The International Court of Appeal will meet in Paris on Thursday September 13, 2007 to hear a referral by the President of the FIA concerning a decision of the World Motor Sport Council regarding a breach by the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team of Article 151© of the International Sporting Code.

"The referral was made by the FIA President under the terms of Article 23(1) of the FIA Statutes and Article 1 of the ICA Rules and Procedure.

"In the interests of transparency the hearing will be open to members of the press and details of the accreditation procedure will be published closer to the time.

"All of the teams competing in the 2007 FIA Formula One World Championship have been given the opportunity to make written submissions to the ICA and have been invited to attend the hearing to supplement their submissions with oral presentations."

hamilton just being lucky being in his first rookie season in one of the best car n 2 wdc as team mate... for me, i have no respect for him at all... i'd like to see a champ start thier carier from bottom (alonso - minardi,renault...kimi - sauber, mclaren) ...far better if he can rise togather with the team...this why i like about alonso...he join renault when renault was nothing...

according to dennis, he never follow the team order and the team and alansi get penalized for that.
should cut the respective driver's points instead of the team.
