QUOTE(monsh @ Apr 26 2009, 06:00 AM)
bad batch of proc ?
but even me i think 1.45V is considered very high for diz proc .
seen some review mentioned could push 3.6ghz arnd 1.4v only .
not sure its true or not >.<"
tried lower d vCore n 1 of d core wont work on p95 and orthos >.<"

Added on April 26, 2009, 6:01 amoh btw anyone tried 3.8ghz daily ?
seems like my proc cant push above 3.6 by far .
maybe stupid RAM .
nid to get my hands on those D9GMH or D9GKX chipset RAMs .
*
3.8ghz daily would result VERY HOT room temp sweat.gif

QUOTE(iBenQ @ Apr 26 2009, 08:00 AM)
tried last time... temps at stress test were scary, therefore i just keep it at 3.6ghz, since i oni need 1.425v at 3.6ghz, but 3.8ghz need 1.55 to make it stable @@
*
i need 1.45v for 3.6 and 1.55v for 3.8ghz, both LinX stable brows.gif

i tried 850-900mhz at 5-5-5-15 at 2.0V >.<" cant get it stable .
guess its me or my RAM sucks .

i really wanted to try 3.8ghz stable daily usage biggrin.gif
temperature is not much problem for me .
cause im pretty sure my setup is very efficient in terms of temperature control .
ambient temp perhaps 30-33C
nothing else generate great heats inside d casing .
2x 92mm fans sucking out hot air from proc and NB area .
2x 120mm pushing in 60CFM each at front part .
rad located bottom as normal for TJ07 setup .

i gotta learn more on ram tweaking >.<"

not really.... unless u need insane voltages to go 3.6ghz... 500w continuous is more than enough for your 4890 and q6600 at stock voltage... u might need 100~130w if ure using 1.45v on ur processor smile.gif blue screens occur not bcos of insufficient power, but rather instability in the system... if not enuf power = auto restart smile.gif

how about when i play Lost Planet Extreme Cndition, it hanged and not responding?? and for left 4 dead, when comes to "kelam kabut" figth with damn lots of zombies, it automatically close the game and back to desktop?? i thought it's b'coz of insufficient power supply for either GC or CPU?? any advise?? and FYI, i always play games with 3.4ghz and overclocked HD4890.

hanged and not responding, were you able to ctrl+alt+del? if yes, then its obvious the game got problem, otherwise your hardware could be unstable... if no bluescreen, my guess its the ram that's disturbing... regarding l4d, many ppl have the same problem, if they're using pirated copy smile.gif... and did u overvolt ur 4890? if not, then power consumption remains the same smile.gif

yes, i can ctrl+alt+del. but after i downclocked to 3.2Ghz @ 1.375v and set my GC to default clock, the game won't hang anymore. as for L4D, as u said got a lot ppl having same problem, and yes i'm using xxxx copy as well......hehehe.....(dun wanna play that game anymore).
