No longer needed. You can hop in Japan if you got 3 shot of vaccine.
From Helsinki to Tokyo also Haneda or Narita?

I bet your flight from Helsinki to Tokyo must be JAL B787. World no.1 economy seat, most spacious and super comfort Recaro seat.

Hii, this is my first time go to Japan… hence I’m looking for the itinerary (Osaka>Nara>Kyoto>Tokyo) if possible 🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️Thank you

Currently I’ve roughly list down as below, any recommendation places to go for 6 and 7th day? Should I buy JR pass for 7days?
23/10 Singapore to Osaka(First day)
🛫 TR818 SIN KIX 0625 1410
-Dotonbori(道頓堀) > Shinsaibashi (心斎橋) > Nanba (難波)
-Book hotel at Namba district
-Buy JR Pass for 7 days

*If from Singapore, you can pick up the exchange voucher (JR pass)  from Klook's office.
24/10 Osaka( 2nd day)
-Osaka Jo >  Tsutenkaku > Nara > Kyoto > Nanba

*the closest JR station is Osakajokoen Station on the JR Loop Line

25/10 Osaka (third day)
USJ RM 280.49 (Klook)
-Take the JR Yumaseki line from Nishikujo station to Universal City station.
26/10 Shin Osaka-Tokyo (forth day)
Stay hotel at Tokyo/Shinjuku, dinner at skytree, jalan jalan 水族馆

27/10 Tokyo (fifth day)
-Disney sea (Klook)
28/10 Tokyo (sixth day)
-Hakone TBA

29/10 Tokyo(seventh day)
-TBA

29/10 Tokyo(last day)

🛫 TR805 NRT SIN 0900 0335
-Return back to Changi Airport

Day 2 to travel from Osaka to Nara and Kyoto is just absolutely crazy "touch n go", seriously might as well don't go at all. Like someone mentioned you are going for a vacation not a marathon.

If you appreciate the old streets of Kyoto and the lush nature of the gardens and temples/shrines, one can easily spend 1-2 weeks in Kyoto alone. I did 4 nights in osaka and 8 nights in kyoto and it wasn't even enough tongue.gif

Suggest to spend your entire 7 days at Kansai area alone (Nara/Kyoto/Osaka) or 7 days at Tokyo (including nearby areas like Kawaguchiko). Most people I know who have been to Japan love it so much that they go there many times.

Due to Yen value shrinking, Hokuriku Shinkansen Line from Kanazawa Station to Shin Osaka Station had to delay to 2043 completion.

Japan finance minister withdrawal the construction money and put the project into stall.

There's a bus schedule here but it's still for the 2021/22 season. You probably have to check again after it's updated. You need to travel to Echigo Yuzawa station to take the bus to Naeba. I assume you will stay at the Prince Hotel?

Is it your first time skiing or snowboarding?

This depends how much time you going spend in Japan and how much homework you doing. If you just got a week to spend in Tokyo, you can skip Yokohama.

I have never been there but on google maps it seems limited and other hotels seems like abit far for walking distance. There's not much difference in price also i think. I would save the trouble and just book with Prince Hotel if you planning to go Naeba.

I have only been to Karuizawa for snowboarding. So can't give you much information as well for other ski resort like Hakuba / Gala Yuzawa / Naeba. But I think I would allocate 2 days to travel in and out of the ski resort. Otherwise might felt too rush or tiring.

Have you looked at EVA air to Hokkaido? I bought EVA to Hokkaido in February for around 3.3k but the accommodation are very limited after Japan gov announced that they are reopening the border.

Once you arrived Yokohama Station, 1st thing was get a Minato Burari Ticket for 500 Yen https://www.city.yokohama.lg.jp/lang/reside...ari-ticket.html

Pass counters:
Subway (Blue Line) Yokohama Station Customer Service Center, East Exit of Yokohama Station (1st Basement Floor, Sogo Dept. Store)

1st I was heading to Hammerhead by using Bayside Blue Bus. Get down at Cup Noodle hammerhead bus stop.
From here you can visit Cup Noodle Museum like other or you can follow me go visit ''Adult'' level itinerary which is Japanese Oversea Migration Museum (海外移住資料館) + having small walk on hammerhead & feel the wind breezing.
Hammerhead walk until Red Brick Warehouse 横浜赤レンガ倉庫

After Red Brick Warehouse, take A Line [Akai Kutsu] Bus to Koen-Mae Park 港の見える丘公園. Walking around park & feel the scenic view of Yokohama (Bridge, Port , Ship and the Sea) From the park you can get a very clear view of Gundam inside Gundam Factory. Make sure you got a good Telephoto Lens tongue.gif

From Koen Park continue walking to 横浜山手西洋館. This area are so beautiful, full of history western building, making you feel like walk in 18 century of Europe.
- 横浜市イギリス館。
- 横浜山手聖公会
- 山手234番館
- エリスマン邸
- べーリック・ホール

Continue walk back up & heading to Chinatown for Lunch. After lunch head to Marine Tower 横浜マリンタワー + Yamashita Park + Hikawamaru

Evening (Sunset) from Yamashita Park back to Chinatown taking Subway from Motomachi-Chukagai Station to Bashamichi Station. New Yokohama City Hall got a new Pedestrian Bridge link to Sakuragicho Station
Pedestrian Bridge 35.450036, 139.633430
On this bridge you can snap the most beautiful side of Yokohama skyscraper.

If you single man....then the Bonus part 桜木町駅前広場 By this time should be afterwork hour, This square outside of Sakuragicho Station can ''Cuci mata'' ...full of OL thumbup.gif

This one I tried once biggrin.gif
Price was on high side due to CBD area, normally eating tonkatsu, I prefer eat at my usual spot at Roppongi. tongue.gif

I found out this shop during my last visit. とんかつ しお田. This is more on serving the community tonkatsu restraurant.
I like the restraurant environment and portion are big. price are cheaper. When you step into the shop, you know is an old shop.

Hi guys, for a family trip (9 people), is it recommended to take the Airbnb whole apartment or just stay hotel with separate rooms? Airbnb is cheaper but I just researched that it's high likely a commit suicide unit? It seems abit creepy but can anyone can share their experiences renting Airbnb? Prefer to have everyone in a unit together... Btw..location is Osaka and Kyoto.

Another thing you might want to consider is how many bathroom / toilet in the airbnb ? Cause separate rooms in hotel means you will spend less time in the morning waiting for everyone to get ready... I traveled in a group of 7. We stayed in separate hotel rooms so everyone get to sleep more vs someone have to wake up early and wait for everyone else to get ready...
