E6850 also need high setting like that , using WC and proper cooling, ventilation maybe can use 4GHz everyday.

Some result I obtained from quick benching on my Asus P5K Deluxe as requested by some buyer.

4ghz (1.46vcore) Prime Stable (Blend Test, Priority 9) for 12hours

YEap no suprise, G0 is capable of it. furthermore he's on water, probably able to hit that with a super duper HSF too.

Errr... You are only half correct about the proc and cooling. Though, cooling is very important but a good mobo is needed also to achieve that. So far I cant reach that speed and stablity with any of my mobo I tested before.

I think maybe the ASUS board u tested had newer revision. I am hoping at least to get sub 4GHz with my QuadGT...(maybe impossible)....

I not sure what revision is my board but its should be the latest gua

try ask uglyvamp, he already done many ocing for his customer...but usually, with watercooling setup...

uglyvamp based in Singapore le.. Anyway, it is quite easy to setup an OC rig or how to OC just by reading through those guide and so on.

Those digital PWM is seriously over rated. When you going for extreme oc and high vcore, you will prefer analog as it is more stable.

From what I read, seems that DFI have solved those picky problem but we'll never know for sure unless its had been tested by any normal user

and unfortunately, the test needs to cover so many hardware/equipments. this is really a turn-off point for DFi mobo...
