Is anyone here has own E4400 with M0 SLA98 stepping? It looks better oc potential since thermal specification is higher than L2.

QUOTE(cyberfly @ Jul 26 2007, 09:32 AM) hi guys...can e6600 overclock using intel chipset 945P mobo?right now using ECS 945P-A ver 3.0 and intel c2d e6600... I dont think ECS board will oc well, just let it be in garage sale and grab P35-DS3 instead. Or still more budget get P31-DS3.

QUOTE(VT-Ten @ Jul 30 2007, 10:11 PM) finally managed to break the 4Ghz barrier. Superpi 1M managed sub 13 secs suicidal settings. vcore 1.6 nb 1.6 1.2VHT 1.6 sb 1.6 CPU VTT 1.55 (already max) E6850 also need high setting like that , using WC and proper cooling, ventilation maybe can use 4GHz everyday.

Is it worth to loose timing badly than high oc? It should be perfect combo if u can maintain 3.6GHz and 800MHz DDR2 with 44412

So long, welcome back. C2D on P35 now have gone a lot better especially with new G0 stepping which now can go even 4GHz on air.

Hoho gengstapo u also think like that kah? I am also think that the FSB1333 strap help it overclock more than E6600 even it got 8x multiplier. I still got trouble priming my E6600 at 3.6GHz(400x9 @ 1.50v) on my ab9 quadgt. I might think E6750 should be no problem at this speed though.
