at stock the E2140 was 36.593s

so considering the 16 seconds boost - very fast already! smile.gif some more so cheap. biggrin.gif

what to do, stripped down processor. smile.gif

Why is your DDR2 running at such loose timings?  hmm.gif
*
Vdroop very bad on this mobo..can only do it at 2.2V but vdroop 2.11 and this oc done on my Team Value Rams.. tried high timing but not stable.. sad.gif

Is it worth to loose timing badly than high oc? It should be perfect combo if u can maintain 3.6GHz and 800MHz DDR2 with 44412
*
from experience the high oc will compensate for the loose timing..nevertheless a better timing from a good ram is better..but as uve seen its not the case.. but running anhything above 3.5GHz on a Quad is already a screamer on any benchmark and for daily use.

that's u got urself the team value only but a good proc to compensate what the ram is lacking...nice strategy rclxms.gif
*
I think this Team value ram quiet good but need high Vdimm to go stable. My old Biostar 965PT can only go 2.2V VDimm but due to vdroop can only do 2.11 sad.gif

I think if i do the pencil mod to increase VDimm maybe can go higher with better timing ..but if got $$ for sure go for D9GMH rams.. blush.gif

intune,

make it 2.3vdimm (so vrop to 2.2) and tighten ur timing to 5-6-5-15 and it can prime stable. rclxms.gif
*
thnks for tip bro.. will do it once i pencil mod my vdimm on mobo.

yup. 4 stick of ram running stablily at 1000fsb+ is a good run already.

a-data also produce high performance ram but i never bother to check the chip they are using though
