been sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long dint visit here already. V3 now. lots of C2D owner now. hehe.
btw i wanna ask something here.. how does C2D performs on the new P35 compare with the old P965...the new P35 can runs on DDR3 and Sata3 rite? hmm.gif

So long, welcome back. C2D on P35 now have gone a lot better especially with new G0 stepping which now can go even 4GHz on air.

All the new E6x50 series are G0 steppings. However, the best new G0 stepping seems to be the Q6600.... smile.gif

does any1 here experience sudden restart pc when opening CoreTemp?

wonder what is the cause?

ps: went to the coolest website & i found core temp 0.95 has alot issues(buggy)

its clashed with our windows. do happen to me last time but after reinstall fresh window, it is solved.

btw, current latest release was beta 0.95.4, from change log seems pretty better

i also kena,when i open the core temp 0.95,no bsod for quad,terus restart,then my C2D pc kena bsod then have to press reset.

P35 chipset rocks,just dont have enought time to tweak it only,exam coming next week,after next week have to mod casing and prepare for LanParty cry.gif

Yeah, it is known that 0.95 has some problems, usually causing BSOD or computer restart. Get the 0.95.4 as suggested, much more stable....

now its prove the CT 0.95 hell buggy yeah!

the time i havent discover yet, ive formatted my rig 3 times in 1 hell nite.. i tot my sound card or RAM gonna die soon

my experience with Coretemp actually a bit different. yep, it caused instant restart ONLY if i enable EIST, etc. if i disabled all those power saving function in BIOS, it work perfectly.

i also have no problem with Vista. but then i've always those unwanted feature in Advance screen; so, not sure what will happen if i enable them.
