Let say currently, I'm on Unifi 300mbps plan and I op-in for the GPON solution, I can get 2Gbps speed with just paying 300mbps plan subscription?
*
NO because PPPOE Account speed capped you wont chance get 2GBPS

300Mbps Overkill GPON
if you subscription 2GBPS get GPON will not overkill

they EU guy replied, won't support TM LAN Port Provision/Entity Id hack like ODI did,

I assume Malaysia dude buy from him is on other ISP.

Entity Id hack is quick way to map everything into one interface, if VLAN inside VLAN (QinQ) need double unpack. Gladly TM didn't use Q-in-Q, that would be horrible VLAN setup.

waiting for him how EU guy implement EntityId safely, since he have right access Realtek Luna SDK code, as usual, cannot share.

Hi there, I am the one who bought from the EU guy. After conversion / courier it costs RM423/- reached my place less than 5 days. BTW, my service provider is Time Broadband. The GPON stick is very stable since day-1. Just plug & play and requires no knowledge of IT 😂. The photo is attached.

The whole unit only costs RM432 after courier? Wow, is it preconfigured by the seller?

the Realtek one, same as my friend using,

there are some place TIME banning those GPON ONU SFP if you read it back post, also, Maxis own infra 100% cannot use GPON ONU SFP.

there some Proprietary/Encrypted OMCI that missing on any GPON ONU SFP, thus it render unusable.

for TM, their OLT setup such a way it use EntityId VLAN Interface mapping, I have e-mail with the EU guy, such EntityId mapping not implemented on their firmware.

Today I had test GPON ONU SFP (non-Realtek) with TM and check if OMCI and MIB is acceptable,
well, it is, abide all TM OLT playbook, no issue using it for 1/2Gbps customers.

plus, it respect OLT bandwidth management (GEM), so, no speed hacking that violate TM Terms and Condition

to check OLT is allow bridging VLAN 400 (VoIP) and it's works.

any update I will update here

wow tm team check if OMCI and MIB is acceptable meaning 100% Safety wow daam
no need speed hacking not imported if 2GBPS subscription must be 2GBPS MAX Speed like hit 2065mbps speedtest like that without speed hacking

GPON No Light ?? if LOS Red Light how to see

i mean TM BTU if fibre problem will show LOS Light RED if Fiber down LOS Light RED

IPTV now using the Internet, no more VLAN 600

and yeah, GPON that I tested can be use and follow all TM requirements, the firmware is stable.

to check LOS status, if you using Mikrotik, simple see SFP status, look at RX Power, it should be above -30dBm, also can see other optical status, unlike ODI, no optical status from SFP properties

Does it work with fibre converter?
Because my SFP+ port already used with 2.5G switch, and i would like to use the fibre optic converter with the only 2.5G port on RB5009.
