Doubt the 5 years warranty covers accidental damage like the earlier post mentioned caused by own fault instead of manufacturer defects .

Same bro, x80h is RM3655 while x80j is RM3799. Not sure to go for newer model or go for older model with higher brightness.

if your tujuan utama is to watch movies, then x750h macam better than x80j

X7500h all ok. Except for the dirty screen effect. I just cannot accept it.
My previous LG suffered from this issue as well. Its annoying to watch football or even movies with fast moving scenes.

It's just there.

X80AJ is the more affordable variant of X80J .

It doesn't has any motion compensation system . Not that the X80J has much either since they are both based on 60hz , which means good luck dealing with 5:5 pull down on broadcast TV shows and movies .
*
Hi bro,
If I'm not mistaken, both X80J and X80AJ are native 60hz.

So they wouldn't be doing 5:5 pulldown. It would be doing 3:2 pulldown instead.

Do correct me if I'm wrong. I might be mistaken on the TV Specs.

You are not wrong but you don't get my meaning .

5 : 5 is referring the standard for 24p content on a 120 hz based panel , 3 : 2 means you will be experiencing motion judders .

On the X80J , you can enable motion compensation to slightly mitigate the problem .
On X80AJ you can't , not at all.

Yes bro.
Both are 50/60hz native panels.

Supposedly the 24p pull down for 60hz panels is 3:2
Whereas 24p pull down for 120hz panels is 5:5

A bit contradicting to your earlier post when you mentioned good luck 5:5 pull down on both these models (x80aj/x80j)

Anyways moving on, the specs comparison on Sonys website shows there's motionflow xr100 on the x80aj and motionflow xr200 on the x80j..

Not sure how these will help in real life usage.
But I do agree that judder will be present for all 60hz panels due to 3:2 pull down.

Do you mind to explain which part of the " Good luck dealing with XXX " , means you are XXX ?

I was throwing a jab , at the insinuation of how 60hz (59.94 to be exact) TV is having difficulty trying to digest content that requires 5 : 5 pulldown to divide frame evenly , primarily the 24p .

Once again , in this context I am specifically referring to that standard , not the TV . Not how 60hz TV will be able to do 5 : 5 , not even with motion compensation techniques , get it now ?

You have already answered your own question with the numbers and proven my point by listing the motion ratings . I don't see why should we continue to dwell on the topic .

Out of topic, bro. Anyway, right now, it is available on Google Play Store (Movie section), Apple TV, and Disney+Hotstar. It is a good movie for kids and family to enjoy.

Is the AU8000 a good competitor to X80H and X80J? These 3 are priced so similarly but there's no rtings review on the AU8000 yet.
