After reading 65 pages of comments, I decided to wait until the new J ones release since it's already March 22. Hopefully by then better value/old model drop price.

QUOTE(motherker @ Jun 2 2021, 12:14 AM) Guys I'm torn between the 65X8000H and the 65X80AJ. Same bro, x80h is RM3655 while x80j is RM3799. Not sure to go for newer model or go for older model with higher brightness. The X8000H is running out of stock almost everywhere. Seller on the other hand is trying hard to convince me to go for the X80AJ. My main intention is to watch movies. Is the X7500H better in that sense? (higher contrast ratio than IPS) Any thoughts on this? |

Is the AU8000 a good competitor to X80H and X80J? These 3 are priced so similarly but there's no rtings review on the AU8000 yet.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 6 2021, 10:46 PM) After a serious consideration, I went for X80J instead. I went for the X8000H instead, 65 inch RM 36xx so far looks great from a distance. But when go nearer can see pixel defect sadly, multiple dim pixels bunched up at the top left, can return it but now price already increase means I have to pay more if want to rebuy...I still have other electrical appliances and furniture that haven’t bought yet so still need to work with budget. Anyway, based on the YT reviews and online reviews, I still can accept the shortcomings. I cannot find X8000H with good pricing so settled with X80J. Regardless, I still stick with Sony at the end of the day. I wanted to go for Xiaomi MiTV P1 which was launched today as well but decided not at the last minute. |
