mine idle 32 load 45..
even o/c idle is same but load reach 60. sweat.gif

You think 60 is bad.. I reached 76 on Orthos smile.gif that was really scary smile.gif but anyway 73+ is max TCase so by right temps should drop after that because it will be downclocking.

Voltage for what ? Is that a 1:1 ratio ? If you use a 1:1 ratio and you have good fast RAM, you might be able to push the FSB up quite a bit.

hah.. looking at your cpuz voltage, it suggest that u put at least 1.52vcore!! probably more than that sweat.gif are u sure u only put 1.45vcore in bios?? what is your ram and the timing?? ah.. dont mess with the timing,, either put it at 4-4-4-12 or 5-5-5-15.. smile.gif kingston value ram with hynix FP-Y5 mostly can do DDR2-900 at 1.9-2.0v with no problem at all.. some of them can easily pass DDR2-1000 at only 2.0-2.1v..

erm.. jgn taruk voltage byk2... for some reason (my case ler) those hynix FP-Y5 do not like high voltages.. not like micron.. 2.1vdimm is max.. but most FP-Y5 can do DDR2-900 at no problem.. mine even can reach DDR2-1000 at +0.3v at 5-5-5-15.. and DDR2-900 4-4-4-12 at same vdimm...

betul ke hang taruk 1.45vcore kat bios,, psl kat cpuz nmpk cm tinggi semacam ajer.. smile.gif

yup.. orthos ngan prime 95 tuh lebey kurang same je..

yeah.. definately idle.. kekekeke. did not strain it. By the way I'm using built in vga.

Followed some of your example. and I did it.. I underclocked. smile.gif

I wonder why. I;ve set he timings to 4-4-4-12, 5-5-5-15 also no diff, actually what does the timing do.
*
Haha, ok, so try setting it to Enabled and up the CPU Host Frequency(Mhz) to 220 as a tester biggrin.gif
Timings are ram related smile.gif
Set to 1:1 divider

Mind trying 8x multiplier instead of 9x?

Serious noob here.

May I know the minimum requirement hardware for E2140 to reach 3.0Ghz? I know a overclock needs a good PSU, ram and motherboard. I saw alot of people here using a so-called P35 motherboard, what is it? I am using a sucky Abit LG-95C, am I able to overclock the E2140 to 2.6GHz at least?

P.S: Sorry if I ask in the wrong thread.

get gigabyte p31 ds3L its same like p35 ds3 with the exception of a older southbridge, its below rm 300 la

dont get a 1gb 800mhz its bullcrap

just get a 667mhz rated and ramp the divider higher or pump fsb

regarding waht you posted at #389, do you have eist or c1E enabled, if so then it was NOR underclocking its the power saving feature.

The P31 has serious issues. Look at http://www.giga-byte.com/Products/Motherbo...?ProductID=2615 and read all the words in red smile.gif
