It hardly happen. Are u a fresh grad? Normally u'll be based in Malaysia and be posted to SG and claim daily perdiem if ur project is in SG. You will never get paid in SGD unless have been supporting SG site for a long time and will continue to do so, then they will apply permit etc. |

So I do not know whether they have the job vacancy situated in Singapore or not. |

Slake seldom apply WP unless confirmed you'll be supporting there for long (if u have supported the application before. Else, still consider new) |

Hi Silverlakers and Ex-Silverlaker,
I wish to know more about Silverlake because I have finished an interview with Silverlake recently. As I see the post above, they say that this comp doesn't give any bonus. What about the benefits of the company? Does this company give monthly allowance or medical benefits to its employee other than the parking claim? Normally people work in the office or in client site (mostly)? Added on February 16, 2011, 2:15 pmbump This post has been edited by season88: Feb 16 2011, 02:15 PM |

Thanks for answering, Vinci.
So, the travel per diem is only for oversea? If work in HQ, can't claim anything other than parking? Are all the department in Silverlake using RPG language? How about the language used in deposit team, credit card team and investment team? This post has been edited by season88: Feb 18 2011, 04:08 PM |

No, I'm not gonna bull them. That's probably gonna cause problems later on. I know Java and C/C++ (no working experience though), but I'm interested in learning a new language. Will I be allowed to request to be a RPG programmer? or will I be assigned to a random position? This post has been edited by Nighthawk2071: Feb 18 2011, 09:40 PM |

@Call999
In the IT industry, Bigger increment matters more than bonus. I rather get 30% increment than have 1 - 3 months bonus at the end of year because BONUS IS SUBJECTIVE TO COMPANY'S PERFORMANCE. But once you get an increment, it goes into your account every month and also with higher basic, you can nego for higher salary at your next job. |
