well you could get to silverlake office using public transport also what.. not all banks are near to LRT/monorail services. The problem with KL is not going to kl but GOING BACK FROM KL. I personally use only 25 minutes to reach KL from subang but it takes me a MINIMUM of 1 hour to get back home from KL. If you dont pay toll even worst, be prepared to get home in no less than 2 hours assuming you dont use the smart tunnel and get home by the federal highway. |

My 2 cents on silverlake
I'm working on a project in a bank which involves silverlake as well. My observation is if you join silverlake, you better join the technical side. The business consultants dont do much (in fact I dont know what they do since they are not even present in meetings. Technical team talks directly to the client instead of business consultants) Learning curve in the technical team will be more challenging but hey, no pain no gain. True fact |

@Call999
In the IT industry, Bigger increment matters more than bonus. I rather get 30% increment than have 1 - 3 months bonus at the end of year because BONUS IS SUBJECTIVE TO COMPANY'S PERFORMANCE. But once you get an increment, it goes into your account every month and also with higher basic, you can nego for higher salary at your next job. |
