Hi, I am freshie and I will be joining Silverlake on 22nd Feb as well. Meanwhile got another job offered in T-system in CBJ. Dunno which one to choose from =).

May i know usually after the 1st interview, how long will they call you if you success? The 2nd day, 1 week, or longer? So if not receive call in 1 week, confirm fail aledi?

yeah... just went to interview on last few days..

I went to the interview also last Tuesday, but haven't hear from them yet.

I didn't get it (didn't receive any calls since ages). Richard, you wait until tomorrow see how. I guess the reason one can fail the interview are:

i) Aptitude test get low marks.
ii) Salary put too high.
iii) Your academic result is lousy (CGPA Low)
iii) The interviewer doesn't like you.

For me is okayla, fail this company then try another lo. Good luck to all who wish to join Silverlake

But what i can said to u is.. dont worry to much...just give them sometime to process the job application..
As i know, their HR staffs are quite efficient on recruiting staffs..

The HR called me within 6 hours after i having lunch, a movie session at One U after the Interview.
They asked me about my current basic salary, any other allowance, yearly bonus, company benefits and ohter for
drafting my application proposal. Of coz, this point still doen't mean that i already get the offer..
Just feel impressed on the speed they process my application.

Anyway,few things want to clarify with current silverlaker..
1) how many annual leave per year?
2) how is the OT claim? if i work in weekend or Public holiday?as previous post, Rm15 per hour for after 8pm, and Rm 40
after 9pm..so how about the OT in between 6pm to 8pm?
3) For new join silverlakers.. is that need to be bond for a year ? Any penalty for if quit or terminate during the bonding
periods?
4) may i know anyone of u go to work from sri petaling? how is the traffic condition from LDP to One U? Anyone of u go to
work by public transport such like train or bus?
5) I have 2 months terminate notice in current company, is that any issue cause i'm not qualified?

Hi there,

1. Basically you start with 15days per year. But for first year, it depends on which month you join. Let say if you join in February, you only entitled 14days of annual leave.
2. There's no OT claim but you can only claim for meal. And if working during weekend or public holiday, you can claim for meal and return mileage from your house to project site. If you go before 8pm, no meal claim.
3. There's no bond unless you go for RPG training. If you got bond, you need to pay one month salary to quit before bonding period.
4. LDP condition from Sri Petaling sucks especially when approach Sunway and WD bridge area. Near Tropicana area as well.
5. I believe that wouldn't be an issue.

Anyway good luck to you. I just tender my resignation to further study abroad.
Maybe I'll rejoin Silverlake in the future if the offer is good.

Hi,

1. They give meal allowance if you work overtime. For normal working days, if you work until 8pm, you can claim RM15. If until 9pm than can claim RM40. During public holidays or weekend, if you work minimum 5 hours that you entitled for RM60 meal claim.
2. For fresh grad, I'm not quite sure how much they pay. But for last year, my friends got paid ranging from RM2.2K - 2.4K. And they all based at project site so got extra RM280 project site allowance.
3. I'm not sure about this, not a Kelana Jaya residence. Maybe someone else can answer?

For the Rm 280 project based allowance... if let say i based at client side 2 weeks ...
so how much can i get ?
besides this, i heard that there have Rm 150 allowance for those work in HQ (One U) every month..

Most of Silverlakers stay in Kelana Jaya, PJ or Subang. I'm from Bangi lol .
Luckily I'm based oversea project so don't have to go to office.
For project based allowance, you need to be at least 10 days at project site.
More than 10 days, RM280 for you, if less then no claim.
RM150 allowance in HQ is for parking only, assuming you even get a spot.
My teammate only got his after 1 year
Not sure whether you can claim or not if you don't have parking.
They requested parking receipt if not mistaken.
