Yeah , Cogent lately performance below par compare last time.

One major issue is now TATA and NTT de-peering with Cogent in Europe transit leading them become worst.

Cogent from SG>JP to US cable cut issue still haven't fully fix yet. this impact cogent and telia and some others transit provider as well.

Europe transit is fully fixed as for now only left the cable cut from SG>JP to US to be fixed.

So basically, what you are saying it is the reason why I've been having latency or random speed drop & high ping? Happened to me starting 1st August 2024.

US cable cut start since at June 2024. Not sure about your problem started since august

Told em I have issues with intermittent lags time to time starting this month, guess what they did ? Send technician to my house and replace lan cable ........

just now i try to do traceroute using celcom speedtest ip. Its seem celcom having big issue on their international routing certain ping can up to 500ms
