QUOTE(YoungMan @ Mar 21 2023, 12:53 PM) Can try to gather more evidence and lodge report to MCMC. See how they respond. Well I already lodged to MCMC. I was told to contact Celcom again by MCMC and need to provide them with proof I provided to MCMC. I should've recorded the call that I had with one of their customer service rep last time. I remember he said the purpose of the speed cap was to save bandwidth around the time I mentioned. I paid for it and they chose to do that? Like wtf 🤣😑It's about time they join up, since their fibre subs is only a small percentage. I am on Digi fibre, and hopefully their marriage will result in improve routing. |

Subbed to their 300mbps plan. Speedtest shows accordingly to the speed I subbed but most of the stuff I downloaded can hardly get pass 1mbps. Anyone know what's up? pigduck liked this post

QUOTE(NovaPrime @ Apr 11 2023, 04:03 AM) Maybe the file you download from the server is slow, are you using browser to download? You can try using IDM it will improve download speeds by alot, or you can try to download some torrent files / movies see what speeds you get. I checked the server I downloaded (AMD site for driver & etc) and I used JDownloader2 because it's free |

QUOTE(failed.hashcheck @ Apr 17 2023, 01:12 AM) Try check speed on cable first to narrow down the issue. Happened to me before, made a report to MCMC and they fixed it but I'm still suffering from slow speed when downloading files etc. Also when people complain about wifi getting slow after a while, lots of time it has to do with channel congestion. do wifi survey and make sure there are no other radio contesting the same channel. auto channels sometimes is not very reliable and will insist on broadcasting on that one congested channel when there are lot more better options available. Yes I'm also using LAN cable and my speed test is fine but when I download something. The speed im getting when downloading files is like 5-10mbps. |

Hey anyone able to figure why I can't configure the WAN settings on Celcom Skyworth router(It's not showing up) ? I use the admin access with the password of c3lc0msuper. I'm trying to get my PPPoe ID since Celcom is being a dick won't give me one and telling me go to Bluecube just for that.

QUOTE(heLL_bOy @ Aug 3 2024, 06:24 PM) Cogent from SG>JP to US cable cut issue still haven't fully fix yet. this impact cogent and telia and some others transit provider as well. So basically, what you are saying it is the reason why I've been having latency or random speed drop & high ping? Happened to me starting 1st August 2024.Europe transit is fully fixed as for now only left the cable cut from SG>JP to US to be fixed. |
