If you put in today, the NAV will either be up or down(result out tomorrow),then if down you going to take out again? I think you are feeling at a loss now, make up your mind whether to stick to it or stop. Thread starter is doing what he do because he knows what he is doing, no one can follow all the time. Fixed income / bond fund is still higher than fixed deposit with differences in risk only. flex.gif

See... you redeem at low price and now it rebounce back you go in at higher price again. Uncle, dont play like this, you will end up incurred more losses. Just put there and steady look at it after 3-6 months if you not urgently need the money. IPF steady bom bibi one.

Interesting. How long you had been "gaming" on this, and how much percentage is the return so far?

It might worth a play if the return rate as high as equity fund, but risk is as low as bond. Lol

I invested since last year dec
The figure vary less than rm5k initially then slow increase to rm100k, so cant give u an exact percentage based on return rate
But overall earn more than rm4k since then and ipf there shown IRR = 22.1%

Bond fund normally won't have sales charge or very low sales charge.

I think you no need to switch, both are bond funds, doesn't differ much.
If you interest on opus, their UT funds should works, I don't see any advantage on their wholesale funds yet.

Also, switch or not also pay (if any) sales charge already. So sales charge is not the concern here, but I don't see any meaning of switching.

PBOND is with Public Mutual.
So he is transferring from Public Mutual to one of the wholesales fund in Opus.

Yes, or can simply sell all at PM and buy again from Opus. Either way, sales charge is not a concern, as the transfer doesn't impose any fee.

But this is quite meaningless unless uncle want to play withdrawal and top up game.

I have no idea why he wanted to do so as if the wholesales fund recommended by Opus can generate skyrocketing double digit return in short period.
