Sharing my bad experience when canceling the booking and asking for refund from the agent, developer and lawyer.

I am one of the buyer at early stage. Paid booking last year as the rumah wip Pantai Dalam looks attractive and was told that the project will launch around CNY 2020.
However, been cheated by the agent again and again, I was told they are going to obtain the APDL soon, at first said April, then May, then confirmed will get it on June. I can totally understand if the delayed was due to MCO. However, today, we are going to enter August 2020 soon, the developer still can't get the license.

I have submitted the cancellation form end of May and has been following up with the agent and developer weekly to check on my refund status, however, the agent and developer site keep finding excuses, keep saying supervisor not around, pending supervisor, unable to proceed. (The form stated buyer should be getting refund within 2 weeks upon cancellation form submission).

Currently I am very upset and worry that I will not be able to get back my deposit RM15k.

Am losing my patient and confident to the Developer & sale agent who keep lying.

What should I do next? make police report? complaint to kpkt? Is there any other purchaser facing the same issue?

What is the right channel to file a official complaint against this developer, Impero Land? Anyone can please help to advise? bangwall.gif

No point complain to kpkt as it isn't legal to collect booking fee at the first place.. I suggest u storm into the agent office or developer office and complain hmm.gif

Since the project seems valid now, dont u wanna keep buying it?

i was in your shoes before this...it took me almost 1 month to get my RM 15K refund back..you need to keep chasing them everyday, call them and ask the status every 2 days...that's how i got my refund back...

I see, was it for the same WIP project or different project?

I did called to different party several times to follow up, keep saying pending their boss approval. It has been pending for 1 to 2 months, still pending. Speechless. ranting.gif

It was for this Circo rumawip.. Its not fair they can hold our refund for long time.. guess you need to be bold and firm with them that since been too long and according to the agreement you shall refund within 2 weeks and you wouldn't hesitate to seek legal action on them..check your message, I've PM you.

May we know who is the agent in question handling your case?
Because I placed the booking as well, I may find out and see whether different agent got same story or not.

The agent name start with "N". When it comes to cancellation and refund, no longer their business, they don't care.

you can find prospective buyer then bring them to your agent then perform booking transfer. then the buyer you bring paid you deposit !!! i no sure this would work for you or not, just suggestion.

you paid deposit under lawyer name, rights?. why u did not direct to lawyer?. try ask lawyer first.
