I would be happy if that's the final results
🎉🥳

But need to accept...

Their financial positions not so good.. with wrong investment decisions... And drying up reserve $$$ from previous years....

Ain't going to be good 😊

It is him. But he sell half way so technically will get some as well since it's monthly calculated.

And he still have 100 each in all 3 accounts

Expect the unexpected 😁

Above 4% - happy & grateful for the $$$

Below 4% - sad little but still grateful for the $$$... Every ringgit counted 👌

I think just a little over 4%, maybe 4.2% for ASM1. This would allow ASM2 ASM3 to 'recover' to 4% later this year - probably after at least one more rise in OPR.

Hope what u say comes true ☺️

Let's see how they manage to pay the dividends this year...
Still dig from previous reserve or gets some "fund injections" from parent PNB 😁

FD mafan. Epf not liquid plus scare tiered dividend plus potential mass withdrawal(loan) and so on so risk of lower return. Sspn no kids and i too old to study so no point. Asmx still the best. Maybank today fly already cannot wait it drop to rm6 a unit. 😂 Banking industry in Malaysia too strong sad.gif hope they crash in US and hope interest rate up another 0.5% today. Then got chance to buy

Morning, would like to ask, from the ASB portal, I see that there's this "Penukaran" function where it looks like I can transfer the fund from 1 account to another.

Would like to know, if there's any charges for using this transaction?

Also say I want to transfer from ASM3 to ASM but there's no available units in ASM at that moment, will the transaction be cancelled automatically? Or will it be parked under pending until there are units available in ASM?

Thanks in advance

The Fed increased rates yesterday, UK has just done the same today and the ECB also increased rates last week. The spread between OPR and other countries rates has widened by 0.75% in the last few weeks and if BNM does not react to that then Malaysia is going to have some very expensive imports and an even weaker currency.

Somehow it didnt work that way, MYR seems to be quite resilient while others r increasing rates.

Whatever is happening

ASMx really need to match or more than FD rates... OPR hike, means FD rates also increase... Also mortgage rates also 😁

If not, more mass withdrawal from existing unit holders...

There's limit of their holding power....

I entirely agree. OPR will be at least 3.0% and probably 3.25% in a couple of months. That will put even the benchmark Maybank 12 month FD rate to around 3.4%. In practice, >4% FD rates will be quite easy to obtain (they are already) and ASMx will have to do better than these rates or the funds will suffer the consequences of market forces.
