Hi, thank you for answering.
I see. actually may I know hows the unit price appreciate? as in, under what factor?
if like share normal have more buyers willing to pay higher price. but in bond is it the same? i suppose this one they cant bid for higher price.
Is there any media i can read about all these basic information?

For newbie

U better go for fixed price products...

The unit price is set at rm1......

Amanah Saham Malaysia 1, 2 & 3
Total 3 funds...

Less headache

And this the one most of us buy...

Hopefully ASM will get more than 4.0% dividend this month end and I can see most of the FD rate already >4.0% for 12-M FD. In order to be competitive enuf ASM should not be less than 4.0%.
My guess could be around 4.15%

We are also about to know whether it's time to change your RM.

QUOTE(MattSally @ Oct 4 2022, 01:22 PM)
I had a long conversation with our RM at Maybank today. He is absolutely convinced that ASMx returns will recover to >5% in 2023. Based on his very genuine opinion we have decided to remain fully invested in ASMx products - while keeping a careful eye on Funds performance of course. Next one to watch is ASB return 31/12/22.

So, sorry to disappoint anyone who thought there might be an opportunity for fishing today. We had every intention of withdrawing a substantial sum but will keep it invested for now.

I have already given him a 'yellow card' warning. To be fair he came back to me a little while ago and said that he now didn't think 5% was very likely. Too late though. Like most investors, I would rather know the truth, even if it is bad, than have someone try to blow sunshine up me. He declined the opportunity to offer a revised opinion. I think he was genuinely embarrassed.

Better dump that fellow...

Any newbie would know 5% is impossible to achieve...
Heck even 4% is considered as excellent results 💪

In over 13 years, a difference of 2%. But much easier to get ASM3.

Is ASM3 really that bad wrt dividend %?

Or is there something behind the scene with ASM3 which will be rolled out soon and perceived as negative?

Need to see this year dividend...

After that, highly possible to get ASM 1 easier too since almost everyone waiting for dividend to credit in...

Mass withdrawal all the way on Monday, 3 April...
System crash...
Huhuhuhuhuhuh 😂😃😜

I would be happy if that's the final results
🎉🥳

But need to accept...

Their financial positions not so good.. with wrong investment decisions... And drying up reserve $$$ from previous years....

Ain't going to be good 😊
