When tm launch the upsizing promo ....

the 50M plan , upload is 10M only .

Don't know if they change upload to 20M or not.

if i'm not mistaken they launch upsizing promo package on year that come with RM79, 30Mbps too. Some of low cost flat or condo users have been offer to 50Mbps package with 20Mbps upload but that different case during free speed upgrade era and unsatisfactory users made termination fever end of year 2017 era. Tm offer that speed for them with RM99.

my shop has unifi coverage , but my home at 500 meters away dont, anyone know how to persuade tm to pull the fiber? can i offer them , my people in my area fork the cost of that last mile coverage? how much do u think it will cost around 500 to 550m of distance ?

If no obstacle just use wifi bridge.. About 5-600 can get.. Good for 200-300Mbps.

was thinking about those outdoor long distance wifi set up, but my place is 3 street down, with all the banglo house on each street. not sure can or not.

Might as well wait for coverage, since only streets away. Sure they'll cover in no time.

Need clear line of sight.. Maybe on roof. If got house taller than cannot work already.

it cost that much? wtf they pulling fiber in kampung then? wtf my shop which just got fiber has a huge school beside me, several major banks and its on main road, but this was extended from a malay kampung on the back of it, with residents all retired old folks that dont even use streamyx, also mostly my customers, and younger gen all left to the city.

whole sleeper kampung is covered. wtheck is this kind of planning TM?

tm installer show me upsizing promo list on middle of jul 2019.
It was written :-
1)unifi 30M--quata 60 Gb--30M(dl) /10M(ul)--rm79 .Contract 24 months.

2)unifi 30M--30M(dl) /10M(ul)--rm89 .Contract 24 months.

3)unifi 50M---50M(dl) /10M(ul)--rm99 .Contract 24 months.

tm installer asked me to choose which plan i like .I choose 30M plan.
If 50M plan upload was 20M during that time , i already subscribe it.
I am not happy now.

.......there are few possibilities.

1) Maybe government plans to develop those areas soon? Thus....land value will go up....opps...pandai-pandai lah

2) Nak pancing undi kot?

Actually TM already has a method to inexpensively expand fiber (not VDSL copper) coverage in rural areas. You will know your kampung area use this method if the drop point box is colored black instead of the usual white.

See, I told ya. Fishy. same old tactic from TM when they launch hidden package like this one. They will launch another package again soon just like this one but this time will be official package.

anyone else having bad internet now??

my neighbour package speed 50Mbps download & 20Mbps upload when tm point offer for him because he want to terminate his streamyx package, then after a few months later 30Mbps package launch first that price RM89, then 30Mbps with quota and lastly upsizing promo 30Mbps & 50Mbps speed but upload speed 10Mbps both of package.

i only managed to get 300mbps from 800mbps package. anyone have the same speed?
