I installed unifi on my new house. I didnt move to the house yet.  Recently a thief entered the house and stole my btu and wireless router. Where can i but the nokia btu? Couldnt find it in shoppee or lazada.

I dont think i need the wireless router because i'll be using 100 ubiquiti ap , switch and  firewall

Future plan. I wanna let my router exposed for best coverage throughout the house (although a bit off-center though, gonna adjust it later).

After 10 freaking years since using the first unifi in KL, unifi finally reached my house in tanjung bungah penang.. set up appointment on 18 Jan saturday...

However i want to ask all the sifus here some suggestions:

1.) Maxis or unifi? (My fam of 5 uses maxis and have "one prime" unlimited data plans, however heard many stories about maxis fibre)

2.) 100mbs or 300mbs? (We have 7 PCs and 5 phones online.. running a home office here.. me and dad regulary game online, so ping is priority..)

3.) Should we upgrade to a different router? If so what router to recommend for best speeds and possibly reach? (Mostly wifi for all devices, 2,000 sqft two story house... Of course looking for best bang for buck.. we dont have millions lol)

is unifi experimenting with QoS for applications/service type?

these past few weeks i sometimes cant even load webpages or instagram sometimes, but my netflix works flawlessly.

getting annoyed with the service im getting. sometimes want to do online transaction also have to think twice coz of the unstable connection

Haven't tried re-enabling IPv6 though

Sorry if it's been asked, is anyone else having problems with WeTransfer speeds as well? Uploading 100mb (home unifi 500Mbit speed) takes 1 minute on a normal day, but lately it's quite often that the same 100mb takes over an hour. Interestingly, it usually goes back to normal the next day.
Other websites like google drive and sendgb have no such problems. My friend has confirmed this same behaviour at his house as well.

Any ideas, sifus here? Can someone help me test uploading too?

Already bought Dlink DIR 867 to replace Netis router. Only used few hours the 5Ghz channel kaput. Suddenly lost this 5ghz channel no where to be found. All my devices capable of 5ghz can't find it. Only 2.4ghz and LAN is working.

Restart, reset, update firmware, etc. No use. Must be defect unit. What a luck.

Now I'm not sure just to return it to the seller or send it to Dlink warranty. I know Dlink warranty is manage by Advancenet, which happens to be quite convenient for me to send over. I dunno about now, in the past, Dlink warranty would replace a brand new router/modem as long as its under warranty and got proof of purchase.

my shop has unifi coverage , but my home at 500 meters away dont, anyone know how to persuade tm to pull the fiber? can i offer them , my people in my area fork the cost of that last mile coverage? how much do u think it will cost around 500 to 550m of distance ?

Is there any website to check Unifi fibre coverage? I cant find any.

None. Not sure why TM removed such feature from their website
That feature made it easier for everyone to find a place that has UniFi coverage if they ever need to move to a new location

How to check ourselves the unifi coverage? I tried and usually results shows for unifi mobile

Anyone experiencing trouble with upload now?

Cannot upload video to Youtube, did speedtest download seems fine but upload keep failed.
