QUOTE(tehoice @ Sep 11 2023, 02:55 PM) For HJC, you can try NKS@sentul. They are the Malaysian distributor for HJC. They supply to other dealers also. Can try BikeEmpire@OKR or iCity Motoworld Shah Alam. If you find the helmet you like, try to find same helmet from shopee and same seller. Then go back to the shop and ask them to match the online price. I did that with iCity where I got my RPHA70. Saved 500. As it turned out, it was cheaper than online, since I don't have to pay 27bux worth of shipping. This post has been edited by jaycee1: Sep 11 2023, 04:38 PM |

QUOTE(jaycee1 @ Sep 11 2023, 01:31 PM) Furthermore, it stinks and I don't want a dirty helmet sitting on my face. reminds me of this morning after i refuel my bike. There was another biker waiting for my pump. while waiting , he removed his helmet. as i was pushing my bike a bit forward (to let him use the pump), i ter-smell his helmet. damn strong the odour. i bet this smell sticks to his hair. my tips to you guys is to wear a headscarf or bandana before putting on your helmet. get the thin type. this will save you a lot of trouble of washing helmet lining. ![]() |

QUOTE(skyblu3 @ Sep 11 2023, 04:38 PM) To help accelerate the drying, I always wet vacuum everything with foam after I wash them.Shoes Boots Helmet padding Seat Etc etc Works really well esp with tall riding boots and shoes. Wet vacuum to remove most of the water then air dry. I also use desiccant silica gel if they're still damp in the evening. |

Yeah, only real way to prevent fogging is to use a pinlock. Anti fog coatings don't really work.
I have the soman stick on pin lock on my spare visor as well. Verdict is, it works, but I find a slight degradation on fidelity. Kind of very slightly opaque at curtain angles or lighting conditions.. Original pinlock is much better but expensive. However that said there are some "OEM" pinlocks that can be found on shopee..but you have to find models that fit your visor, or get those generic fit ones that come with included pinlock posts that allow you to drill and install the posts on non-pinlock visors. I usually just get helmets that they throw in the pinlock together. Much easier that way. |

At least they simplified it somewhat...it was even more convoluted previously. Can't blame them. They are the world's largest helmet manufacturer. 007SMH liked this post
