If can. They can transmit mux 3 using HEVC codec. 2.5-3mbps should more better than current quality . For the additional cost they maybe can cover by put more broadcaster/channel in the single mux than now.

Tested the radio on a Sony Android TV with HbbTV support.

For MYTV to power up the 3rd mux, is gonna cost them a lot of money, again.

Each mux from MYTV Broadcasting has the bandwidth of total 34Mbps.
So you can just do the math on how many SD/HD channels you want to pump in to each mux.
For now, SD channel is 2.5Mbps, HD channel is 4Mbps.

Mytv appeared on Jcsat4a but locked channels $$$ just like Fox sport, NickJr, Sctv & indosiar... the rest of bigtv remain FTA channels

Because Asiasat 9 (122°E) and JCSAT 4B (124°E) are very close to each other, many people often mistaken and confused that MYTV DTH channels are being transmited from either satellite.
Actually, MYTV DTH uses only Asiasat 9 now.

just some cheap receiver fraskoo for testing n sharp dual lnb... btw adjust 1cm lnb also get get laosat1 or use twin lnb on top of each other to get both laosat n jcsat

Update : That usual self amusing watermark has reappeared to 2 CJ WOW SHOP channels. Luckily the main Media Prima channels (TV3/NTV7/8TV/TV9) remained watermark free, likely permanent, after its removal on 10 March.

MYTV Broadcasting is not Santa Claus.
They're just a provider that in charge for its digital TV infrastructure (means those technical stuff), ensuring Malaysians can receive digital TV channels, not creating TV content.

This one you got to ask RTM, Media Prima all those, to offer better shows to all.

Speaking of which, TV3 & tv9 on tonton removed 1080p livestream option.

is RTM channels down? can't view it (TV1/TV2) can't get the channel even retuning it.

If you haven't retune your TV set/set top box, please retune to Channel 43/650MHz in order to get RTM channels back. The transmitters in Klang Valley region has already moved the second multiplex to a new frequency last month, for 700MHz clearance. If you still cannot find 650MHz, try moving your antenna, preferably outdoors or a sweet spot indoors. Note that Multiplex 1 (The mux that carries TV3, 8TV .etc) remain unchanged at Channel 45/666MHz.
