I'm using the IzziYou package for about a week.
At first the signal was not good, always at arounf 70% and speedtest result was bad, dl result is around 300kbps - 400 kbps After i added the atenna, the signal is >90% and the speedtest result improved. Now the dl result from speedtest is at around >800kbps. Will try to provide the speedtest link here later today. |

Last weekend, the customer service from iZZi called me and asked about the speed. I have told them my problem and he said he will give the feedback to the company. Let's see.
What I would like to say is, even though the speed test result might be quite poor but the download speed (using Thunder) is quite good for me, around 30-60. These are my speed test result. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by Lovely_Gal: Dec 18 2007, 08:28 AM |

yours consider ok la lovely_gal. Compare to mine...hmm...they still unable to fix it....
From the tele coversation, the cs guy told me, each tower support 50 user. What if in my area, KJ, all 50 user 24/7 torrenting...for sure best effort i can get 500 kbps at best. To make thing worst, average i get only 350 kbps. I will lodge my 3rd written report to them... upgrade bw my shoes. |

Errr...what is so different between your speed test results and your "30-60 download speed from Thunder"? 30KB/s is approximately 240kbps while 60KB/s is approximately 480kbps. Looking at your speedtest results, I'd say they were quite consistent?Unless I'm being stupid again in my calculations...if so please forgive me... For a 1mbps liine that Izzi is supposed to deliver, you should be getting a speed of around 125KB/s maximum. A little less depending on wireless transmission overhead. But still, it should be hovering around the 100KB/s mark which is equivalent to 800kbps. BTW, does anyone know if the product is transferable? I really don't want to wait till mid January to cancel my subscription to get 6 months of my money back...if I could sell it off to a third party now, I'd give one month free subscription This post has been edited by wr6969: Dec 18 2007, 11:28 AM |
