Experts, TS10 theme are usually simple, blueish. menu interfaces at settings are always cluttered, and they will display specs in two boxes. 7862 theme is usually purplish, launcher theme got integration with navigation, menu icons usually bubble

As far as I know, 6gb is so 2021. lots of local sellers like mohawk, soundscreen etc etc is purchasing big bulks of 6gb, so its difficult to sell cheap. Plus the price difference between 8gb ram model. Hence its economical to sell the 8gb model. not many sellers are selling this high end model.

teyes ccs mod is not really stable as far as i know. so there's no point using it unless UI is important for you. Bear in mind, accessories like bluetooth obd2 dongle and USB dashcam needs to made & sold by teyes or else it may not work. You can just download the vivid launcher if you wish to have the same interface as cc3.

My HU is 5 years old now and still working like day 1.

Everybody is still waiting for new stocks it seems. The combination of people buying a lot of head units after getting the 10K EPF (pasang sebelum balik raya) and chip shortage means that a number of sellers don't have new stocks right now

Same reason as above. I also am surprised at how hard it is to find it right now. During the first week of Puasa, there were a lot of shopee sellers selling this around RM550++. Nowadays not many have stocks

Btw your Kenwood link is suspicious. I doubt they are selling a "real" 4GB unit below RM300. Likely it's a modified firmware that tells you it's 4GB when it's only 1GB

for android player, can buy any player to use on mazda 3 2012? will it usable with the steering wheel control? or need to buy those specific made for mazda 3? but those usually 2gb ram, seem abit low for the spec ?

Need to find the correct bracket for your specific car model. This will influence how large the head unit you will need to buy (either 7", 9" or 10"). Then, you would need to find the harness connector/converter from your car's original wiring -> head unit.
If your steering wheel button is analogue, then it should be included in this wiring, and it's just the case of "teaching" the head unit to recognise your wheel's button and map it to the correct function

So yeah, you don't need to buy specific to your car.

First time user here and I am wondering if it's normal for the device to be on when engine start and off when engine close.

What I am trying to say if it will make it deteriorate faster this way, or its build for that.

Yes, it's similar to how a normal radio work.
But you can also set that the device only turn off it's screen (similar to how you lock your screen of your phone, for a max of 3 days) when the engine is turned off. If you are a daily user of your car, then this should be fine and should not drain your battery much

Guys, in using TS10, i just installed this vivid launcher. I already set to home launcher, But everytime i start the car, the player only show the original launcher the app menu. Any way to fix this?

and roughly what will the price be in the market? went to a car accessories shop in puchong (near lok lok street) and the seller recommended TS18 Mohawk (4+32) for RM980+ :/ after including installation will be around 1100+
