Quoted for truth smile.gif (although my gf was also one of those typical viewer..  sweat.gif )

However, the whole movie does not meet up to my expectation though hmm.gif I think using the camcorder style shooting could not bring out the best for cloverfield hmm.gif

well, using a movie cam can bring out cloverfield. but it will just be a rip-off of godzilla and get low rating. and no re-watch value.

Hey man, dun always compare it to godzilla! There are unlimited possibilities in this world tongue.gif Using normal shooting style to film cloverfield doesn't mean it will be a godzilla rip off smile.gif

i wasnt impress with this not because of the lack of CGI or action but the shaking camera is too much and half way thru the movie i juz dun care if every1 dies cuz none of them r engaging enuff.

i actually thought the CGI is good. the scene where Hud film the monster kena napalm from the Heli was nice. Probably its nice cuz its like the first time v get to c d monster properly.

Thats not a post credit scene. That was shown in the end, but I never saw anything 'drop from the sky'.

Just came back from Pavilion watching it.

anyway, here's a tip for those that haven't watch it. Its not a spoiler so don't worry.

Theres no post credit scene.

There, I saved you the hassle of waiting for the eternally long credits. biggrin.gif

Its was a new movie experience to me, feels very suspenseful. Camera was shaky on some parts yes, but its not as bad as some people portrays it(vomiting? wow lol).

a 8/10
Just like Lost, leaves too many questions unanswered.

well actually some cinema operators knows about post credit scenes, so wat they do is instead of letting customers wait till the end of the movie, they forward it to just b4 the credits.
correct me if im wrong (e.g transformers, starscream flying into space was an after credit footage wasnt it? , but in cineleisure they showed it just b4 the credits rolled)
im not saying ur wrong however, cause im not too sure whether there is really a post credit scene

Ah, they can do that? Well guess you can wait and see. This is GSC btw, they never forwarded the post credits scenes in POTC2 or TF anyway, so....

Yes, but look at all the previous comments. If you can't stand shaky cam, then why bother to watch it, leave after 20 minutes and bump into this thread and complain? I don't get it.

I actually LIKED the movie, and thought that the handi-cam was a GREAT way to tell the story from the people's perspective. The only thing I DIDN'T like, was the whole One Tree Hill/Dawson Creek drama...... that made me gag in the cinema.

But I was probably the only one in the cinema laughing my a$$ off when

It was a decent enough movie with a fresh perspective for a monster flick. Was it the best monster flick ever? Hell no. Was it entertaining enough? Hell Yes. Was Godzilla better then this? Hell NO. Was seeing people getting eaten super funny? HELL YES!
